To be fair, Telstra has 5,134 complaints, and Southern has 360, but I'm quite sure that as a percentage of services / customers, Southern would undoubtedly be higher.
Anyway, my view on month-by-month / prepaid mobile services is just "try as you go". If, for whatever reason, a particular provider / MVNO doesn't work out for you, just switch.

I've been having very ordinary service the last few weeks with Southern. But that also sounds like a lot of people after the 3G turn-off
