Decent deal with the $15 discount making a 20GBp/mth sim only $5 (+plus can data share). Details are as follows:

I'd rather poke my eyes out with a hot stick. Leaked my data, then when I complained, deactivated by number so I couldnt port it…absolute dogs.

Personally I haven't had any issues, data leak was annoying but what hasn't been leaked these days I guess. Weird to just cancel your number thou, I'd be fuming.

      • Just wait till you do experience an issue with their service. You'll regret it.

        • I have had a postpaid mobile service since 2014 with them, had the occasional outage issue here and there but nothing that has affected me big that I remember. Missus is with Telstra so we get the best of both worlds I suppose, funny thing is recently I've had more coverage than her along the QLD coast. No contract anyways so if something comes up that I want I can just move :)

        • “There’s a problem with my internet”
‘Let’s talk about what we can do with your mobile phone!’

My guy, sort my stuff out first!

agreed. I'd never go back to Optus

  • does that cover SIM data only plans? If yes its a decent deal

Eg $5 a month for one for iPad and data

    • yeah that's what I got, I got the $20 for 20GB mobile sim discounted to $5 - $30 for 6 months is a sweet deal :)

Gave me 50% off for rejoining. Paying $41 for the $82 plan, getting 360Gigs data (crucial as i don't have nbn) and $20/ month credit to use on prime, netflix etc. Great offer for me as the data leaked was of my friend who is the primary account holder.

  • If you chat with them, you may receive an even better discount.

  • So is this deal only if you already have an Optus account and add on another which qualifies you for the $15/m off? Or can a new customer essentially get on a $5/m data sim for and iPad or watch or something?
