[Bupa] $20/Month off nbn Plan, $10/Month off Mobile Plan for New Customers for 12 Months @ Tangerine Telecom

221

You need to be logged in to BUPA Life Rewards to retrieve your offer code.

BUPA Life Rewards offer $20 your tangerine NBN bill for 12 months and/or $10 off your mobile plan for 12 months.

BUPA Offer mentions it's only for new customers but I have just asked Tangerine to stop my internet, mentioned it was too expensive compared to others and they could "magically" use that code for me for 12 months despite not being a new customer

  • Do they use Telstra or Optus? Happy with their service?

    • Tangerine use Vocus for nbn and Telstra for mobile.

        Same goes for More Telecom.

        CGNAT on by default.
You can request to switch to Dynamic WAN IP, but they remove IPv6 support once you do this (which is very puzzling).

      • Full Telstra network like boost ?

  • +6

    Works out:
    $48 for 25 plan
    $63 for 50 plan
    $65 for 95 / 17 up
    $69 for 100 / 34 up
    $85 for 250
    $104 for 700!

    • If you have CommBank Yello Everyday Plus, More Telecom is slightly cheaper.

      • I'm switching from More to Tangerine soon because the discount is running out

  • More internet is not good… Too slow in Melbourne east.

    • Would Tangerine be just as slow?

  • +1

Any experienced Tangerine users in WA?

Something I liked about Tangerine is that you can cancel the service via the online portal. Not aware of any other ISP that allow this.

  • any one have bupa code?

  • Does this stack up with their summer sale pricing (6 months promo)?
    https://www.tangerine.com.au/nbn/nbn-broadband#order-speeds

    Summer sale pricing:
    100/20 - $60.90
    100/40 - $69.90
    250/20 - $79.90
    700/40 - $94.90

    • I'm going to go with no

  • Was looking into this, but after reading the comments on the Facebook ads I started receiving (they're watching to us…), there were no positive comments.
    Terrible/non existent customer service.
    Technical issues, etc

Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I'll probably hold off in this for now.

    • I honestly only had to contact their customer service twice and they were incredibly professional and helpful to me

  • Terrible experience with Tangerine… I would stay away.
Also, apparently when I signed up for 100/20 plan which had "free fibre upgrade". I was then put on 50/20 instead until I got the "free fibre upgrade" which I have been holding off on.
I've been on 100/20 plans for 3years through various different providers, I've never heard that I needed fibre for 100/20.

The customer service was super slow too. Took 10minute hold time to "look up my account", then another 10minute hold time to "cancel my order" after I found out the above.
Throughout the wait time I had to confirm whether she was still on the line, and repeated things that wasn't even correct…
"I'm currently upgrading your plan and processing your refund, please kindly stay on the line"
"sorry, you meant cancelling my plan and giving me a refund?"
"yes, please kindly stay on the line"

    There's a reason they're so cheap…
