The 2GB data sim seems to be a very unique sweet spot. They have esim so there is a possibility of using it for apple watch.

  • I know nothing about Telco lingo, what's MVNO and what does it mean for me?

I'm currently with Optus, if I had to port would I expect roughly equal performance?

an Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) is a company that sells wireless services to customers using a licensed mobile operator's network, but does not own the network infrastructure itself.

They typically only sell part of the network, and because they have lower overheads they can charge much less than the actual mobile network operator. You might pay less on your phone bills but you might also get less performance and only a basic tier of customer service.

Has CrazyJohn got back into the mobile phone business?

    • Nokia 5510 or Motorla StarTac?

I know people will say the cheaper plan for 5GB a month is useless, but it will be useful for some who really just need a connection of some kind. Ie. I would chuck one in my iPad or laptop juts to keep me online at times I don't have Wifi.
