Melbourne show dates: 7-10 June 2013
Sydney show dates: 28-30 June 2013

Simply follow the steps below to redeem your tickets:

  1. Select which event (Sydney or Melbourne) you'd like to attend
  2. Select which day you wish to attend
  3. Enter your unique code word, CAST&GIL, at checkout
  4. Download and print your tickets

Seems like a generic email and code so I hope other OzBargainers will be able to use it.

    Dammit… allocation exhausted for Sunday in Melbourne… got some for Monday, but our flight back to Canberra leaves around lunch time :( anyone want to swap - saves me trying (and paying) to get Virgin to push our flight back?

    How much are tickets normally anyway? doubt anyone has even paid or going to pay, this show ain't gonna make any money from all these free tickets, even of they sold large quantities of alcohol.

      $35 bucks and I actually paid last year, and there was a big queue at the ticketing booth. So they do make some money off tickets as they had 3-4 staff manning the ticketing counters.

      I don't think the tickets go on sale till March so I'm assuming only a small amount was allocated as free. We got 2 free ones last year for work but in the past we've paid (I work at a food manufacturer).

    Does anyone know if these entry tickets also entitle the ticket holder to free food and drinks at the show? or is it purely an entry ticket and any snacks, foods and drinks must be purchased separately?

      Entry only. May be some samples that are free but rest of your food and drinks are purchased.

    Just received an email about this and anyone with more then the allocated 2 tix will have the additional ones suspended. Basically, they will not work if you try and get into the show with them. Looks like they've caught onto us getting more then allowed. Oh well….

    I got two PDF tickets last night but all the fields are blank on the ticket. There's a barcode, but nothing else.

      Incompatible with some ipad/iphone/mobile devices and some apps. People having the same problem. Read the bloody post and comments. Use smart office or an equivalent app to see the missing details on a computer.

      Yes. I was there tonight. The best free sample for me were two Philidelphia chocolate spread things.

      Lots of free samples and possibly enough to fill you up if you like condemints and cheese. There were a lot of wine tastings but I'm not a wine guy.

    Some tips from I Eat There for I am

    1. Get in line early for the free Celebrity Theatre sessions.
    2. The Nespresso class is free and worth doing.
    3. The Barilla pasta class says it was $15 but today I just walked in. Do it anyway if it does cost $15.
    4. Cheese alley is a must.
    5. Get the $3 wine glass to taste all the wines. Don't get smashed, as it's a really bad look.
    6. Violet chocolate from ChocoMe, get onto it. Violet is so underrated.
    7. Salami Shack, hello cured meats.
    8. Passionfruit curd from Unforgettable Products, mmmmm.
    9. If there is any way you can wrangle a spot into the VIP lounge, it's a great way to chill for a bit in the madness. I got a pass luckily but you'll have to charm your way in haha.
    10. Samples, samples, samples.

    A good tip for you, come on the last day to pick up some awesome bargains as the stalls try to sell off everything. I picked up these amazing caneles one year for 50 cents each when they're normally $3.50.

      I have some for Syd on sunday 30th that i wont be using, but just now when i access my email to check the ticket its blank..? Is this normal ? Or is it because im viewing it on ipad so i dont see the text? I will check later when i have acess to a computer if it works i will pm u..
