  Not a great deal.
  I searched three consecutive days in April that I need to be in/near the Sydney CBD.
  I applied the "GovRooms" code.

  The rates at the five Metro properties per night were:
  Hotel A: $165/night
  Hotel B: $165/night
  Hotel C: $185/night
  Hotel D: $245/night
  Hotel E: $195/night

  Then I went to WOTIF and NeedItNow and applied the same dates and got this:
  Hotel A: $135/night
  Hotel B: $135/night
  Hotel C: $152/night
  Hotel D: $189/night
  Hotel E: $155/night

  I use NIN 90% of the time for hotel bookings and now I have seen proof why AGAIN. NIN charge me a flat $3.85 for an online transaction.

  A so called "10% extra off best room rate" offered by a hotel reservations rarely compares with the hard discounting sites doing hotel bookings.

  The $90 to $150 I save with NIN will buy me three to five good main meals … not slide into any hotel's bank account.
