Cashrewards keeps rejecting my hundreds of dollars refunds for hire car so staying away from them.

        Okay, refer to this then.

  • How much will it cost on 2nd recharge.

My guess. Usual price. We jump the ship after it expires. Turn off auto renew to avoid surprises.

Absolute sh1t1est network, been with them for the last 7 months nothing but failed sent messages, phone call disconnections and unable to receive data.

They are supposedly doing a big upgrade in 5 days so fingers crossed it gets better soon

Vodafone coverage will become quite similar to Optus but with better price plans. I will change to Vodafone actually.

  • I've just got a new device and am thinking about pre-paid for the first time in a very long time. Can anyone explain what this product is and what "60GB for first 6 recharges then 25GB thereafter" means? I'm used to paying a certain amount of money and getting a certain amount of data - is that not what's happening here?

Promo. They give you more data to lure you in. The price would go to $35 after the first month. Thats why some of us move between providers and use various sims. I have been recently alternating every month between lebara and vodafone. Same network. You can easily get this 45-60GB for $10/month this way.

      • Thanks. So just to make sure I understand, this would cost me $10 for 60GB in the first month, then $35 for 60GB each month until 6 months, then $35 for 25GB each month after 6 months?

$12 at Coles. Bought yesterday to do a 28day port out and then back to Boost.

  • Here I am with 300gb on circles.life (Optus) for $39
Is this the new normal in the cost of living inflation crisis? Apparently I'm on a good plan…

    • Vodafone is probably a more established company. But $10 works out to be the same.

    • Vodafone offers infinite data with speed cap (for 480p or some 720p streaming) on most plans, which means data never runs out.

      • Ah, that explains it. Thanks, I was a bit confused there.

    • You're doing it wrong. You get a cheap annual plan for calls (either Catch or Everyday, if you buy at WWs), and get cashbacked monthly starter packs for data. Your phone is not dual sim? You're doing it wrong.

      • 50gb? That's useless when I'm downloading over 100gb in one go.

I only use Optus for my second data sim, it's often garbage from congestion during peak times. Optus isn't an option for my primary number, I live in a regional area where it's often Telstra or nothing.

        • Me too. I was on Boost, now on Everyday (WWs). And cashbacked monthly Boost for data. But we can get unlimited data for $20/mo from Felix.
