For the newly initiated just be aware that dealing with either Samsung or Asurion is a nightmare. It's a bargain … if everything goes well.

Reading all the comments and was surprised to see no one trying the $50 discount code for signing up to their e-newsletter as well as requesting a $100 loyalty voucher from chat directly (which was the norm in previous years) and stacking on top of all the other advertised discounts. For me the S25 ultra isnt a big enough jump over ths S24 Ultra that I have so will skip but recommend others to try the newsletter and additional loyalty discount through live chat
There is also the 5% discount for shopping via the app for the first time.
The $50 for signing up to newsletter is not popping up for me though.
if you do the $400 trade in voucher, GALAXY2025 code and the $100 voucher, I think that hits the 3-voucher limit per cart :(

All I'm doing is logging into the Westpac Rewards, accessing the "Samsung" offer from there (it doesn't mention anything about government or education), adding things into my cart, and trying to check out. @bohn: you need to sign up for internet banking - there is a 'Rewards' tab up top (I have had a westpac account for a long time though). Good luck! In the incognito window I do not seem to get the 5% off - I wonder if the site somehow mixed up the rewards portal with the govt portal and maybe the rewards portal doesn't have 5% off? who knows.

Paid $478 to upgrade from S24U 512gb to S25U 512gb + Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Going to try:
- either cancel (if possible) or sell the headphones to hopefully recover around $150-200
- use TRS also to claw back $48
- privately sell the S24U instead of trade in
- claim it tax time for work use

For anyone not going to send the trade in phone back, you can just choose "cracked screen" in the condition to bring the trade in value down to $5 or $1. The non-return fee will be reduced to $30 instead of $60.

Gov store is not on the app, you cannot get 5%.
It automatically applied for me via EPP website, no action needed. "Welcome to Samsung, here's 5% off your first purchase"
Was it applied at checkout after the trade in?
@Mortin: You might need to clear the cart and re-add them from the app. If your current shopping cart is synced from the web store, it wont add the 5% discount.

Its a promotion for a chance to win a samsung product usually with s series launches. Last year it was watches. Its not really a chance to win i believe.. its first number of x orders gets the item
