    Monkey tracked after approx.13hrs at 44 cents as I bought 2.
    Not sure if I should take the risk and collect it or let it lapse so I get a refund.
    I have no confidence the CB will be fixed correctly as it seems some people saw it listed at 50% and 20% CB.

    If my cashback doesnt come through, I’ll be taking this to consumer affairs. Sick of being ripped off by this type of marketing. Money side of it is kinda irrelevant, this is about principal and honouring a promotion.

    • Completely agree with this. These companies get away with false advertising when they don’t payout on their offers. Need to be held accountable.

    • Yes, this has happened to me as well. Also, if you try and make a missing cashback claim,, it doesn't allow you to complete the form because it's saying store is invalid. I'll be submitting a complaint to Fair Trading if I can't get it resolved through them. Definitely will not be using Shopback ever again.

      • I raised a missing cb claim 2 days ago, and just now checked it’s tracked at $0.48 from $120 purchase (2 bottles). Here’s hoping it’ll track correctly later on.

  • 2 x monkey shoulders and 2 x Hahn cases finally tracked. Monkeys at 44c each even though it was one transaction and Hahn as zero. I'm hopeful that because even though it was via First Choice they have tracked as "Monkey Shoulder" and "Hahn Beer Store"

      contact them via the website saying it's tracking incorrectly and they will fix it… takes about 2 days.

  • Mine finally tracked at $1.20 for 5 bottles. Guess it's deciding if it's worth the hassle with SB that they might not pay out and the T&Cs did not have limits.

    • Too risky to pickup. Very disappointed in how this has unfolded. @gotyourback, hopefully you can investigate and improve the process to prevent this happening again.

  • Nothing tracked for me so reported it over the weekend which was a hassle. My visits were tracked and can be seen on the app but the actual purchase wasn't. Took screenshots along the way so hopefully it gets rectified. Hate having to deal constantly deal with this though.

  • So I got Drambuie which was listed as 50% cashback. So far, 9 days later, just 24c cashback instead of $30. Starting to suspect I got scammed. Or Shopback is a mess with incompetent employees.

  • Submitted a missing cashback complaint re my Monkeys Shoulder (1x bottle) which tracked at $0.24. Got the same response as @Kassa and still at $0.24 XD

    Might be the last time I waste my time on ShopBack. Not worth the hassle. I bought it in their app to avoid any extensions or ad blocking issues. zzz

    Maybe should’ve screen recorded the entire transaction?

    • My 2x $0.24 have bith gone down to $0.22. Additionally the extra $0.12 after submitting a claim has been rejected.

    • Not sure if it helps but I got a different response to you both (posted above) after I reported an incorrect Cashback amount through the bot live chat on their website.

      I think mine may be on track to be resolved but too early to say yet. Either way, this is really a disappointment as I'd had a pretty good run with Shopback up to this point.

      It's a shame to see that the original @gotyourback is no longer active on this forum or apparently has been taken over by another less competent operator. The original one was super diligent about sorting this stuff out for OzB users.

    Decided to check my Shopback account - both missing cashback submission entries are now marked as rejected. Even though I've received an email saying that it was all good and cashback will be added within 2 weeks.

        It looks like it's not on SB side. I have the following notice on the rejection:

        Your cashback of $17.50 was rejected and removed from your pending earnings for one of these reasons:
        1. Your order was cancelled, returned or exchanged, partially or fully
        2. Your order was paid for with a gift voucher
        3. Payment or stay was not completed.
        If this was not the case, email us at [email protected] and we will check in with our merchants. Note: The partner store holds sole discretion in determining the cashback validity.

        So this looks like it's First Choice Liquor and Liquorland are the ones who f' us.

          Hmmm.
          I'll attempt to email them. Pretty woeful that the bot just gives you dead-ends and doesn't prompt you with this option (to email).
          Also none of those factors applied to my transaction, so we will see whether Shopback can pursue it with Liquorland, but I won't hold my breath.

    Nothing tracked for me from this, tried to follow up with ShopBack and they rejected it. Can’t appeal as they only have a chat bot on their app. Might never use them again after this, don’t experience this with Cashrewards or Top Cashback, SmartSpending etc.

      7th Jan that was 50% both are still showing 22 cents!

      Hi Rep, how long should we wait for a response? I've heard nothing for two weeks after sending screenshots of the activated cashback when in my cart and after purchase. The site even tracked my visit and shows it but says no purchase made.

      Yeah mate - I have been denied cashback on two cases of superdry and I am fuming. I was happy to give the benefit of the doubt but since your chatbot is completely broken and the other avenues of contact apparently don't exist, I think it's time to go to NSW fair trading.

      ACCC won’t help with individual cases, better to go with your local consumer affairs office. I’ve got all my information ready to go including screenshots of the purchases, timestamps, ShopBack’s click throughs, credit card transactions and times, order receipts and times… all this done via their app too so there’s no “oh you must of used another web browser” style of excuse.

      I’m ready to go hard on this one, even though it’s just a few dollars worth. Already sent an email to them politely requesting a resolution to both the tracked one at 24 cents and the rejected cashback request. I’ve absolutely reached my tipping point for getting shafted by these promos that conveniently “don’t track”.

    Very poor - shopback - should not be listed on this site, as it's not their first time.

    First it was 14 days after date of purchase and now it is by 31 January- weird how they keep delaying but we will see.

      So-called-rep "gotyourback" eventually abandoned everyone on the battery deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/883629). Set your expectations low.

    For all the people who have been screwed by this joke of a deal, here's what the endless chatbot told me to do

    If you have a complaint, please 📝 email us at [email protected] with enough information for us to identify you and the subject of your complaint.
    We aim to address your complaint immediately, but if we can't, we'll acknowledge it within five days.
    If you're still unsatisfied, you can contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), our External Dispute Resolution Service.

    So, I'm gonna email the address. Wait 5 days and then going to AFCA and Fair Trading NSW.

    Everyone should do this. Shopback have really screwed the pooch here.

  • Very frustrating. Would a chargeback be applicable in this case? Probably not because it’s not LL or FC fault. Do we really have any recourse here?

  • How did you guys file a claim? Mine didn't track at all - but I have the click history. When I select the store (Hahn Beer Store or Monkey Shoulder) it says "not eligible for cashback"

    • I went through the 'live' chat bot and from there was able to select missing or incorrect cashback amount (I forget the actual wording/sequence of prompts). It allows you to enter the store and transaction details. Mind you, it hasn't gotten me very far though in terms of an outcome.

  • My Malibu purchase tracked correctly and was picked up on 10th Jan. Last night Shopback sent me another tracking message "Hey there, we're still waiting for the store's final confirmation. Once we hear back, we'll update you on any changes to your Cashback amount".

          This has to be the height of laziness by the store rep. Could not even be bothered to tailor their cut and paste response, or genuinely respond to any of the comments.

      • I got an email similar to the above wording yesterday. Said payment within 14 days though. Fingers crossed it gets sorted.
