These are a must and will never go back!

Have you tried the cool? I want to buy it but not sure if it's better

  • The spongy material in my Evolution became rock hard after leaving it in the garage between trips. No such problem with the $10 Kmart one I replaced it with.

  • For me, my chin falls through the opening. I prefered the pillow that wraps around your neck to keep it upright.

    • You can close the front - unless it's too big for your face shape?

      • no matter how much you tighten the string, overtime my head just falls between the gap

        • Spin it around, way more comfortable and you’ll sleep much better

    • Buy the cool version and rotate it 45 degrees

I purchased both versions - I find the neck ridge is too high and hard on the cool version and not very comfortable and I find this version gets too hot.

    • The heat factor was why I stopped using mine, it was a really good pillow but too warm. I don’t bother with using a pillow now

  • Since we are on this topic, can anyone share their user experience on Trtl travel pillow to justify the price ? I prefer something takes up less space.

I don't have the Cabeau but I have the Trtl. I got it as a gift because my friend hated the Trtl and preferred the Cabeau more. I quite enjoy the Trtl because it keeps my neck straight and forces me to sleep against the seat… and no neck pains for slouching forward.

I recommend you to try the Trtl first if possible. Works for me but not everyone.

    • Cabeau comes with a storage bag that helps roll up the pillow to a size of a mug. It's very portable and good price point. We chose this over the trtl because there's really no other use for the trtl aside from sleeping sitting straight.

  • My 'Cabeau The Neck's Evolution S3 Neck Pillow' arrived from Amazon yesterday. It is the one with the chin strap, the feature I really wanted coz I can never sleep on a plane. It was $54.00 and now I see it is down to $46.58 as a "Boxing Day Special". I am debating if it is worth doing a return and re-ordering later, as my OS trip is not until March.
Has anyone used the one with the chin strap?

Edit: Geez, even the 'MyHalos' eyeshades I bought at the same time are cheaper.

  • Have had both the cool and Evo s3:

    Pros:
    - Super supportive of the neck
    - Wrap up into a travel case thing that clips onto luggage

    Cons:
    - Both are uncomfortable if you like wearing overear headphones, they come in the way and push my headphones up
    - S3 gets warm around the neck.

Out of both i'd say the cool was better but recommend to try before you buy!

  • Just bought the Cool version. Hopefully I like it, I have the Evo s3 but since I get warm very quickly, I thought I might as well get the Cool. I haven't even tried my Evo s3…but i'll cry about it later

  • Maybe it’s just me but I find these to be massive and uncomfortable. Couldn’t sleep with them at all 💸
