[Refurb] 15% off Eligible Items, 17% for eBay Plus (Max Discount $300) @ eBay

480
RFGIFT15RFGIFT17

I assume these codes are for "eligible" refurb items. E.g. Refurb/box damaged items in the Sony store.

Offer Period. This offer is provided by eBay Marketplaces GmbH (“eBay”) and commences at 10:00AM AEDT on 4 December 2024 and ends at 11:59PM AEDT on 13 December 2024 (“Offer Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time as set out in the Changes clause below.
Eligibility. This offer is available to eBay Plus members and non-eBay Plus members as set out in clause 4 below.
Conditions. This offer entitles you to:
non-eBay Plus members to 15% off; and
eBay Plus members to an extra 2% off (total 17% off),
the pre-coupon purchase price (excluding postage costs) during the Offer Period, up to a maximum discount of $300 per transaction. Multiple items may be purchased in 5 transactions per person, including cancelled transactions as set out in the Cancellations clause below (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).
“Eligible Items” means items listed on eBay.com.au where a link to these terms and conditions and the coupon redemption code RFGIFT15 (for non-Plus members) or RFGIFT17 (for eBay Plus members) is found in the item listing, or the item appears in the following URL:
https://www.ebay.com.au/e/coupon-offers/15-17-off-refurb-dec…
Redemption. To redeem this offer during the Offer Period, enter the redemption code RFGIFT15 (for non-Plus members) or RFGIFT17 (for eBay Plus members) into the redemption code box during checkout. This code cannot be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher. You can only use the redemption code 5 times during the Offer Period. Where a transaction for which a redemption code has been used is cancelled either by you or a seller, the redemption for the cancelled transaction cannot be re-used and will still be considered a redemption as set out in the Cancellations clause below. The code is provided to you as an eBay User and the limitations on its usage apply on that basis even though you may have registered a number of different eBay User IDs.

Any decent 15 inch laptops for an old man that likes FB, YouTube and the like?

Nice work at ebay in making a link that doesn't work…

Tempted to grab a refurb apple watch series 8 45mm, at around $320. Still feels an insane amount to pay for a two year old smartwatch though.

      Dont pay it then?

      • +8

That makes too much sense and doesn't sit well with my need for dopamine hits from buying things.

I reckon eBay is being silently run into the ground by a CEO who is getting kickbacks from Amazon.

How else could they be so badly run these days?

      • +3

I've been buying more from eBay than from Amazon this past year…way more.

They might have one of the useless recently rejected CEOs from Straya. Plenty more where they came from, judging by the way things are lately. Or maybe our CEOs are duping ebay?

They decided to pivot away from small sellers and used goods, then Amazon stole their business. And now FB has the used market pretty much tied up and ebay is wedged out from both sides.

  • Iphone refurb prices are horrible! A few bucks more and could have got the 16s.

    • 14 Pro Max 256GB for under a grand goes alright.

      • Is that so? Let me have a look. Thanks for the tips.

        • My bad, it's $1053 in excellent condition. Additional 2% less if you have Plus.

          • @Ham Dragon: Really missed out not buying one during Black Friday, the 20/22% code was working on this store (and its sister store, Green Gadgets)

            • @xyron: I don't think you missed out on much, I was monitoring prices as I need an upgrade and they'd jacked up prices and I didn't see any iPhone 15 pro max's drop below $1300 after discount.

These deals will come again, they've been quite regular, I'm pretty sure in a week or two they will drop to Black Friday prices again.

              • @nicolascage: I have been monitoring 15 Pro Maxs too and yes, anyone looking for one has missed out - Mobile World and Greengadgets prices for an excellent condition 15 Pro Max 256gb went down to $1259 during the Black Friday sales + the BF2420 coupon code.

Before that I hadn't seen them go under mid $1300s (for "excellent" condition). Was still too much $$$ to justify for an 18 month old model. Wish my partner would move out of the Apple ecosystem.

                • @xyron: yeah I think the better option would be to get the iPhone 16 pro max, get Officeworks to price match another store around 2069 combine with 10% gift cards. you end up paying somewhere around $1600-$1700. and if you can add in flybuys, you get further 'savings'

                  • @nicolascage: Yes exactly, although we're going up even more in price then!

          • @Ham Dragon: I found one yesterday at <$1k albeit at 128gb.

            https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/334965419806?_trksid=p4375194.c1…

Yesterday it was giving out $100 off. It's already over now.

            • @burningrage: I think 256GB is probably the minimum you need nowadays given the space photos take up!

    • They had better deals recently, green gadgets was selling iPhone 15 pro max 256gb for ~$1250 including $300 discount excellent condition

  • ebay loves refurbs

  • Anyone found a good deal on a refurb iPhone? Was thinking SE3 2022 (for 5G) or iPhone 12 mini but prices seem pretty high - high $300s or $400+ ?
