Promotion terms

  • You must use the $10 promotional credit by 11:59PM (AEST) on 30 April 2026.
  • In order to qualify for the $10 promotional credit (which can be used on future eligible orders), you must: (1) be one of the first 5,000 customers to purchase $200 or more in Amazon.com.au Gift Card(s) in a single order at Amazon.com.au or the Amazon app between 10:00AM (AEDT) on 12 March 2025 and 11:59PM (AEDT) on 18 March 2025. (“Qualifying Purchase”); and (2) enter the promotional code “GCFMAR25” in the “Gift Cards & Promotional Codes” box at check-out(“Offer”).
  • Amazon.com.au Gift Cards are subject to the Amazon.com.au Gift Card Terms and Conditions.
  • For Qualifying Purchases, a promotional credit of $10 will be automatically applied to the Amazon.com.au account that was used to make the Qualifying Purchase within two (2) business days after your order is shipped (for physical gift cards) or within two (2) business days after your order is completed (for electronic gift cards). An email notification will be sent to the primary email address associated with the Amazon.com.au account used to make the Qualifying Purchase within two (2) business days of the Qualifying Purchase being shipped or completed (as applicable) to confirm that the promotional code has been applied to the relevant account.

  • This promotional credit entitles you to $10 off a future purchase of “eligible items” shipped and sold by Amazon AU and will be automatically applied to your next purchase of eligible item(s). “Eligible items” excludes products sold by third party sellers including Amazon US (Amazon Global Store) and Amazon UK even if fulfilled by Amazon, digital purchases such as e-books, products that are not in new condition such as renewed products, subscriptions such as Prime Video and Audible, any gift cards and postage or delivery rates.

    The deal is already active. The Go to Deal link automatically applies the coupon. Applying the coupon manually at checkout produces a message that it cannot be applied (which is the same as previous similar promotions). I purchased a $200 GC 10 min ago and have received the gift card and confirmation of the $10 promotion being applied.

      If you apply it manually after clicking on the Go to Deal link above, that's what it'll say (because it's already applied).

          After clicking the Go to Deal link, you should see a tick with the message "Promotion will be included at checkout", so no need to input the coupon code manually.

    Won't accept code ("The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."), but instructions on amazon page state "Enter the promotional code GCFMAR25 at checkout. This Offer can be redeemed once per customer and Amazon.com.au account." Those who ordered without adding code, you got the $10 credit?

        Ok, I did get the credit. Rather confusing when two Amazon pages have conflicting instructions, first time I've seen it auto applied. Guess they forgot to update one of the pages. At least it worked still.

    For those that confirmed this worked for them, does the checkout page give any indication that the promotion has been applied?

    I'm following the instructions and this is what I'm seeing.

    1. Click the "Go to Deal" link.
    2. The page opens. Near the top of the page it states "Promotion will be included at checkout" next to a tick.
    3. Select one of the gift card options (I'm choosing the first one but shouldn't matter which), set the amount to $200 and complete the other details.
    4. Click Add to cart then proceed to checkout
    5. The checkout page has no mention of the promotion so it's not clear if it's working.
    6. If I go back to the previous page where the gift card is selected, it now shows the gift card is in the cart and it states at the top of the page "Your order qualifies".

    It seems most likely it should work but it would be nice if the checkout page mentions the promotion is applied.

      agreed. this is a very poor UI. previously if a promo code has already been applied, it will show somewhere on the checkout screen that a promo code is already active. for some reason, this time around, it is hidden somewhere and the only hint you have is that you can't apply the promo code.

      anyhow, I took a risk, and it worked for me. but I'm not happy with how it looks now.

    Hey guys i purchased $200GC yesterday and received the GC & confirmation email of the $10 being applied to my account within 10mins, but it is still not showing in the account. Gift card balance & payment wallet balance are $0. Any idea what the issue may be?
