P&O Cruises: Buy 2 Adult Fares & Get 2 Fares (Adult or Child) Free on Selected Cruises in Triple/Quad Share

240

This deal was popular last time and now it's back for Black Friday. While I'm personally not big on cruises (prefer flying in and exploring solo) at this price it's super tempting.

Full terms can be found in the link.

Buy 2 adult fares and the 3rd and 4th guests in the room (adult or child) travel FREE!*

How to redeem this offer

  1. Simply go to the P&O Cruises website and explore a range of cruises available.
  2. Please select your cruise, departure date and the number of guests in your room.
  3. Select your room type (Interior, Oceanview or Balcony) and select the Go Fare.
  4. The offer will be automatically applied in the booking summary displaying that you are ONLY paying for 1st and 2nd guests in the room and that the 3rd and 4th guests are free^.

Offer ends Monday 2nd December 2024.

This offer is restricted to Interior, Oceanview and Balcony rooms, which are able to accommodate up to 4 guests per room. Mini-Suites, Byron Beach Club Mini-Suites, Suites and 5-Berth Family Rooms are not included in this offer.

This offer is available for triple and/or quad rooms only. If you’re travelling with 6 – 8 guests, two rooms can be booked with the Buy 2, Get 2 Free offer and the offer can be applied to both rooms.

Child fares are applicable to guests up to and including 12 years of age. The Buy 2, Get 2 Free offer is available for 3rd and 4th guests (adult or child) who are able to travel for free if the 1st and 2nd guests pay a full adult fare.

  • No Melbourne

I'm not surprised. Melbourne only goes to Australia (yayayay) and NZ. Unlike the other destinations that go to so many more.

    • +4

The Port of Melbourne jacked up the fees significantly for using Station Pier so I believe most Carnival Corp ships stopped home-porting in Melbourne… (and the Spirit of Tasmania moved to Geelong due to the price gouging)

  • No Adelaide either.

    • That's even worse than Melbourne. Unless you enjoy cruising around Australia only.

  • Wonder if this stacks with a family and friends discount

  • Haven't taken any cruise before. Is it worth paying to upgrade to Value Package? That's $223p/p more for the Tangalooma-Moreton Island 4 nights cruise. Since there's 4 of us, that's almost 900 bucks.

  • This doesn't seem to be working.

Selected 9 night Sydney to GBR for 4 people. Balcony shows from $720.50pp/4 person room.

Then next steps show $1441.00 for 2 people and nothing for the other 2. So it's like you're paying for a 2 person room, but for 4 people…something ain't right!

    • The offer will be automatically applied in the booking summary displaying that you are ONLY paying for 1st and 2nd guests in the room and that the 3rd and 4th guests are free^.

So on the page in the link I filtered from Sydney and chose the "Discover Vanuatu" cruise for 9 nights from 1-10 Sep 2025.

If I choose Ocean View with 2 guests the price is A$2,368.00 and if I select the same with 4 guests the price is A$2,368.00. So the 2 additional guests are free.

      • I know how it's supposed to work but it isn't. You can see below. I chose a cruise from the deal page too.

In the end you're paying just as much for 4 people if you were in a 4 person room…which you are! It should be half the price of a 4 person room.

        • Perhaps this is why? I'm not sure.

Buy 2, Get 2 Free is available on selected cruises only, and is subject to availability. If you experience issues with booking, please contact our call centre on 13 24 94 (Australia), 0800 7 0 716 (New Zealand) or +612 4204 8606 (Overseas) who will be happy to assist.

          • @Clear: It was a cruise from the deal page and it has availability…I will be contacting them tomorrow but I feel they're just tricking people into thinking they're actually saving.

            • @Jewdas90: Most cruise deals only offer a certain number of cabins at the discounted price, they may have sold all the discounted ones for that cruise… Most of the good deals you have to get in damn fast to snag them…

It's kinda dodgy really, all intended to get people looking and such…

              • @FLICKIT: But that's not the case here. You can see on my second image that the deal is applied and 2 people have no cost next to them!

    • EDIT: Second step shows $1441.00 EACH for 2 people and nothing for the other 2. (mod: edited)

  • No Fremantle

  • The T&C says Mini-Suites etc is not included in the offer but Balcony costs $1324 for 4, whereas Mini-Suites is showing up $1514 for 4.

Safe to book Mini-Suites, you reckon?

  • $1324 for a balcony room for 4 nights for 4. Is that a good price?

    haven't cruised before, just checking

  • Is P&O good for kids (11 year old)? Or are some of the other ships like Carnival better suited/ more or less the same

  • P&O is a budget cruise with limited options, while Carnival offers better food and activities. Carnival Cruise Line owns both cruises.

    • P&O will be absorbed into Carnival early next year too.

    • Checked Carnival offers and it costs more than twice what P&O has to offer for the same route.

Does any of these cruise company charge passenger gratuities (service charge/tip etc)? I remember hearing/reading of such stories.. just can't remember which cruise liner…
