It’s derived from diary (cattle) - so yes halal.
It shouldn’t even be a subject of concern, however - unless diary is now derived from a non-permissible animal (like pigs - of which none exists for sale for as far as I'm aware.)
Halal is an Islamic methodology of how animal products is derived/ prepared. I.e: 1. The animals slaughter methodology; and 2. The animals permissibility to be eaten/ consumed (and any products derived from their body - like milk, etc).
@YoursTruly: Ya it said concern if one is looking for a halal product. Some products use pig/animals that are non permissible. I’d like to hear form the vendor as im looking for a product that’s not using certain animals/manufacturing.

NZ dairy is no 'cleaner' vs US dairy IMHO. NZ (dairy) farming practice has a nice image but reality may be a little different. The likely source is Fonterra.

Compete with the market rate.
Figure out a better deal and come back - if you are to survive long-term in the market - and you want me as a customer.
Unless what you sell is magical or dreamlike to justify the high price (i.e. drink it up and buff-up within seconds lol) - of which it isn't either.
