Isn't it misleading consumers? illegal?
Yes but their excuse will probably be something like it's the brand name.
Great price, good product. Can't get good quality whey cheaper than this.
Since when is WPC great quality?
WPC from reputable sources is usually filtered well, with little denaturation, and is great quality.
I assume you're going to claim WPI is worlds better, but it isn't on most metrics. It you can tolerate some lactose, WPC is superior on most metrics (including value).
This is also a blend, so you can even satisfy yourself that you are getting some WPI.
WPC is superior on most metrics
what metrics are you referring to?
@hughes: Value, processing (some WPIs are processed with high heat, so even though their figures look good the protein has been significantly denatured), stuff like that.
People just blindly assume that WPC is worse than WPI and Isolate just went a bit "further", but it's a different process.
Can't hold out much longer for next AminoZ deal, should I resort to this, a blend of WPC and WPI?
Jay posted a comment on the last deal a week or so after it ended saying it was unlikely there’d be another deal until at least after March, so possibly worth giving this a go to tide you over.
I don’t personally rate it as tasting as good as AminoZ Choc Malt, or even Inc Dynamic whey, but it’s not as bad as some other brands.
Do u guys drink this everyday?
I have one scoop/shake a day. Have had each day from various brands since about 2015.
I've heard the mix puts less strain on the liver, and perfectly fine if you aren't going gym 3+ per week
Whey in general is unlikely to cause liver troubles in anyone without a preexisting condition. It's perfectly fine to have multiple shakes per day if you're healthy.
That said this one tastes quite mediocre leaning on bad. Not a fan and I still have 3/4 of a tub to go through.
I've got 3/4 remaining also from CW deal - not the best taste but easy to ignore, I down it quick w/ 5g creatine once daily
It's perfectly fine for anybody. WPC is not some dodgy byproduct, it's just slightly less filtered WPI.
Blends are good value.
Hardly seen my local stores have 2kg, only 900g ones, and only 2 boring flavour vani and choc
The big ones only come in vanilla and chocolate
That's mostly WPC, with a dash of WPI. Notice how they don't list the actual % ratio?
No thanks
Musashi is slightly higher protein content, INC has MCT and other additives. Probably equally fine.
It is cheaper at chemist warehouse 58.49
Anybody have thoughts about Musashi vs Bulk Nutrients? I like the bulk nutrients whey, but the flavours are a bit hit and miss.
Bulk Nutrients 100%, but you pay for it.
Whatever is Cheapest
What is the 10% off code?
Thanks OP
Bought two vanilla (it is higher in protein than the chocolate one - for some reason)
I Could not hold out for Amino Z to come with a deal. This will tide me over until then. First time will be trying it.
$58 - Musashi 100% Whey Choc Milkshake Powder 2kg
I havent seen that low in months!
It should be noted Musashi 100% Whey Choc Milkshake actually has 92% whey.
