Can also use the 5% price beat guarantee at Officeworks to get it down to $265.99 bringing it down to one of its lowest prices seen on OzBargain as far as I could find!

I heard previously that they can deny by saying it's costco and needs membership. What did you say when you were doing the price match?
I just took my item (AirPods Pro 2) to the counter and said can I please price match with Costco. The assistance checked up Costco online and then I paid. In and out within 10mins. I paid $265.99 after price match. Price after gift card discount $239.40 and I collected approximately 1300 flybys points ($6.50 value)

I don’t think that’s the case anymore. I called up Officeworks and they didn’t even 2nd guess, they just did it straight away, not sure if she even looked it up

Amazon usually does just the big retailers, not Costco (probably due to the membership fee).
This with the Officeworks PB is tempting, have seen it a bit cheaper for flash deals. Going to hold out longer.

No concrete reports of pro 3, so yes possibly will come out next year but just minimal rumours at the moment, if you’ll have fomo then just hodl

If you need AirPods then this is a good price if you don’t then you don’t and can wait for 3s in a year or 2.
Personally my pros aren’t holding enough charge to get me through the day anymore so that’s why I’ll be upgrading otherwise there’s nothing wrong with my original pros for me.
im operating on a samsung FE atm which is the best sub 100 option, i find it sometimes runs out of juice while im watching movies (3-4 hrs in) , and since i watch at night i end up turning off the tv to not bother others, takes a while to charge, if i had a second set id be "set" so im waiting for pro 3s but they are taking their sweet ass time

I use them all the time. I hate on standard videoconferencing over-ears with that dicky microphone that is always just enough out of position to be on mute.

Yes, if you price beat over the phone then you pay over the phone and they place the order for you. If doing in the store then you pay the cashier.
Just rocked up and showed the OW mgr the ad, he sorted it out on the spot. 3 mins later and $266 lighter I was out. First time a PB has gone that simply for me.

Anyone elses Officeworks teenagers act like they hold the magic keys when trying to price beat. "Well I'll not normally do it, but I will do it THIS time for Amazon, only because it's sold by Apple" was a funny one I heard once.
Airpod 4 are currently $299 (with Active Noise Cancellation) on the Apple Store. A much newer product for $20 more. I would argue this isn't much of a deal

Agree with earlier comment that it’s hard to see what functions they could add to the AirPod Pro 2. Despite being two years old it still seems pretty impressive.
According to Apple fine print AirPod Pro 2 has 2X better noise reduction than the new AirPod 4 with ANC, also 2 hours longer battery life in NC mode. Assume much of the difference is due to the closed (rubber ear tip) design as opposed to the 4 open design since the latter now has the same chip set and almost identical feature list.
Costco have the 4 ANC for $279.99 Inc delivery so for the minor price difference it probably comes down to whether you prefer open or closed or if you need the extra NR. Also note JB will NOT price match with Costco (I tried yesterday) and are selling at $289 though the box still has the original sticker showing $399. So head to OW I guess.

As long as the code / product matches and it’s in stock to buy at that website, there’s T&Cs.
It can take 3 minutes or 30 minutes. Very store dependent.
They have to search and find the exact same product, and it has to be an AU store with stock.
Typically. If the margins are too excessive ie $3k laptop for $500, they will call that store to check stock and where they are located.
If it’s lower than their margin, they can just tell you to buy from the other store instead. Especially people trying to get $400 iPhone 15s with a printout, using USD pricing, etc.
As many others have noted, OW price beat fast and painless - done yesterday afternoon around 4pm no problems.
