I don’t think that’s the case anymore. I called up Officeworks and they didn’t even 2nd guess, they just did it straight away, not sure if she even looked it up

Amazon usually does just the big retailers, not Costco (probably due to the membership fee).
This with the Officeworks PB is tempting, have seen it a bit cheaper for flash deals. Going to hold out longer.
But what about the air pods pro 3 that are supposedly around the corner
No concrete reports of pro 3, so yes possibly will come out next year but just minimal rumours at the moment, if you’ll have fomo then just hodl

If you need AirPods then this is a good price if you don’t then you don’t and can wait for 3s in a year or 2.
Personally my pros aren’t holding enough charge to get me through the day anymore so that’s why I’ll be upgrading otherwise there’s nothing wrong with my original pros for me.
I doubt there would be new ones before September.
How good are they for teams meetings?
I use them all the time. I hate on standard videoconferencing over-ears with that dicky microphone that is always just enough out of position to be on mute.

interesting, the discounts on iphone 15 pro from a year a go is larger than the discount seen for airpods pro 2, i.e. the latter retains value better ?!??!… well makes sense if they have 2-year release cycle, relative to iphone's 1-year
