These items are not eligible for Cashback:

  • Purchases via the Lenovo Education Store, Outlet Store and any Employee Purchase Programs such as corporate partner stores.
  • Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the merchant site including but not limited to student education codes, employee discounts and price-matching.
  • Purchases using codes imported from other sites, or clicks made from 3rd party plugins, newsletters, banners, advertising etc.
  • Any assisted orders or negotiated deals via phone/email/chat teams – rep IDs will be attached the orders and cashback automatically rejected.
  • Purchases paid with gift cards for full or partial payment.

We calculate Cashback based on the purchase price, excluding:

    Hmm. This question applies to topcashback and cash rewards as well. If you purchase a laptop and its faulty or doa and you get a replacement do you still receive Cashback?

      Any rejected, cancelled, refunded, exchanged or returned purchases will not be eligible for Cashback.

      @cobknob This is in their terms and seems to be the same for other retailers on all the cashback sites. However Australian Consumer Law regarding faulty goods also applies.

      Will ask @gotyourback if replacement of faulty items are eligible for cashback. It would appear unreasonable for cashback to be rejected.

        That's a great question. Unfortunately, if your original order is changed due to a return or replacement, it will affect your Cashback eligibility.

        However, if it's due to a faulty order on their end, you can reach out to our support team with proof. They can investigate and try to recover the Cashback.

          I was hoping for better news. I feel like it should be included in the terms for all 3 Cashback sites that a 1 for 1 replacement, doa, or fault issue due to a faulty device should always inc the cashback albeit with proof of required. Otherwise only workaround I see is keep device for Cashback period of 90/x days and return under warranty assuming Cashback is a chunky percentage of purchase. It's not a great workaround but I don't see anything else.

    Bought a laptop via shopback on 30th Aug, was tracked same day and supposed to get approved on 13th Nov, still waiting. No replies to the email sent to them either.

      @chadleyshe @OZcheepsk8 Legion Go is eligible for cashback as the code is auto-applied, confirmed with the rep GYB previously. ShopBack hasn't listed all the auto-applied codes in the special notes but cashback is eligible when automatically applied.

          Hope it will track soon. Legion Go with the auto-applied code is eligible for cashback. Also confirmed with another cashback provider in terms of eligibility.

    I purchased a ThinkPad X1 Carbon this morning, and the transaction tracked shortly after. Later, I noticed that Cashrewards is offering a 15% cashback on Lenovo today (uncapped), which would have given me significantly more cashback. Does anyone know if ShopBack can match the cashback, similar to what TopCashback does?

      Another option is if it's possible to cancel this order and place a new order via Cashrewards.

      I forgot Cashrewards is uncapped. I saw the offer but didn't post as it is 15%. I will post now for those who order more than the $250 cap.

    Lenovo seems to be notoriously slow at approving cashbacks. My cashback from this deal was tracked quickly with an estimated approval date of 13th Nov. It's 25th now and apparently Shopback hasn't received any updates from Lenovo.
