Using code generated on the Lenovo website would still be honoured?

    • +1

I am also wondering about this.

      • @xyzzyxyzzy @awa187trex Unfortunately no, any usage of promo code that is not advertised from our platform will not be eligible for Cashback

        • 10% off for first purchase price is also excluded from cashback?

          • @Jaff: @Jaff if it requires you to manually entered a promo code for the 10% off, it will not be eligible then for Cashback

          • @Jaff: Confirmed with the team - the 10% off will not be eligible for Cashback @Jaff

"Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the merchant site including but not limited to student education codes, employee discounts and price-matching."

      Shopback…. Eghh… Caution.
Topcashback has my vote for reliability.

      • Will topcashback match this?

    • In the past the cashback worked with the Lenovo e-coupon automatically applied. Not sure if they changed the terms as this wording seems to imply it won't be accepted.

      Maybe @gotyourback can help clarify?

@Juice08 will get back to you on this

      • +3

Great news! The automatically applied eCoupons like PROMO will work for Cashback @Juice08

Maybe add and highlight this information in the heading/OP? or Pin as first comment?

Worked for me via Shopback when I bought something with an automatically applied code in June. The code wasn't listed.

Cashback was approved and paid out last week.

      • I'm hoping the same for this time

Glad I did not pull a trigger at cashwards 10% yesterday. I am buying a $1,999 laptop listed(Promo code is applied in the background), so I can agrue it is eligible for a cashback.

Lenovo has offer $1 accessories with rep chat, but it will make the cashback ineligible, such a shame.

Max 250, 1250 is the sweet spot

      • +1

Yes, but im looking for a gaming machine.

        • @gotyourback the order has been placed, and it was tracked. Now I am just waiting for shopback to honor it by mid tomorrow. Otherwise will call to cancel the order.

          • @redfaraday: @redfaraday - great to hear that the Cashback is tracked! It should be moved to your available balance within 75 days as that is the standard validation period for Cashback from Lenovo

            • @gotyourback: Thanks got an email from shopback saying $250 is coming my way soon. Does that mean it is valid and will be in my account as long as no cancellation or return?

Lenovo automatically adds promo codes to a large number of items - need to know if these are eligible

    • Checking on this @lucas1000

    • @lucas1000 - you can still get Cashback with the automatically added coupon like PROMO!

      • @gotyourback just want to confirm if AUGUST24 is accepted? It is also automatically added by Lenovo. Thanks!

  • I'm in the market for a largish screen (pref 15-16') and want a Ryzen 9 with 1tb SSD and 32gb RAM since RAM is soldered. Struggling to find that config in Lenovo for 2k. Legion slim seems to tick the boxes but without an OLED screen and it comes in at $2400, but I don't need the graphics card, just multiple programs and typing a lot.

Shame this would be a good deal otherwise.

    • I just bought a legion Slim 5 14 inch. Did not want something big and heavy. Light gaming maybe, but afraid no time.

  • Ideapad Slim 5 AMD (Gen 9) or Ideapad Slim 5 Pro? What's the general recommendation?
It's going to be a work laptop for the Mrs. (self employed)

    No gaming at all.
About a 1 million Chrome Tabs need to be open at a time ( :P )

Work Use - AutoCAD/ArchiCAD/Revit/Sketcup - Mostly Drafting and modelling not rendering
Twinmotion - Basic Rendering (not path tracing)
And of course the mandatory office apps i.e. Outlook/Word/Excel

Currently using an ancient E485 (R5 2500U with Vega 8) which just about gets by for all the above tasks but is slowing down the workflow gradually.
Laptop is attached to a secondary screen but laptop itself is also used (I know…. I've offered to dock the laptop and setup two screens with external KB/Mouse but Mrs. doesn't want to)

Choosing Ideapad Slim because budget is $1000 (could go up a little) and I like the R7 processor with 780M Graphics, but 16 GB RAM has me scratching my head!

    Any suggestions are welcome!

I ended up getting the same thing. The ryzen 7 8845HS upgrade, and a 1tb upgrade because 2242 m2 storage is hard to find.

I've had a 2560x1600 14" laptop before. It was an overkill, I only ever used it at 1920 resolution.
The 760m GPU looks to be faster than the 125h (The ryzen 7 8845HS upgrade has a 780m, even better)

      • Same, ended up ordering the Ryzen 7 8845HS upgrade, but didn't upgrade the SSD because it's mostly connected to a central shared drive.
Had some hiccups at checkout, but finally cashback tracked on SB so all good :)

Hmm, signed up with Shopback, made sure no ad blockers or anything was on. Clicked thru the Lenovo store from Shopback, placed my order, but cashback hasn't tracked… Not off to a good start.

Edit: 30 mins later and $250 tracked, phew!

  • Anyone use the lenovo reward and still get a cash back?
