but h*ck thats a nice deal. 13in R5 is most appealing to replace my not at all ageing XPS 9300

  • Those aeros would have been good with 30% off 😂

    What does 1 do on a 13.3" lappy. I can't get used to 14" screens. 16" min for me with fhd/qhd 👌

    • depends on your eyesight I guess? I'm on a 13in 1920x1200

I prefer lighter and slimmer for scrolling on the couch/ quickly getting a download going or managing a selfhosted server, and stick with a desktop for getting things done.

I like watching videos on it too, but I get that's not everyone's thing on a smaller screen (never had a tablet). Good for students, roaming tech support etc.

      • I've got a tablet and it's good for watching yt/streaming but always prefer hands free watching - I just haven't caught onto the whole touchscreen gestures thing past a smartphone. Tablet might have practical value with a touchscreen with well design apps but how many of them are there!?

I did try a touch screen lappy <= less than or equal to 14" with FHD/QHD. Good luck with that, you need pencil fingers at best. I don't have fat fingers but omg I just couldn't tap start bar with tiny icons 🙉 my fingers are slightly smaller then your standard artline marker. Perfect for smartphones

  • This was $750 at JB last year.

    No deal.
