can iuse these giftcards to pay my prime membership?
In the past I think it wasn't possible, but it is now. Not sure when that changed or if I'm wrong about it previously not being possible.
On the Prime membership payment method page there's an option to "Use your Amazon gift card balance".
Yes you can
Nice! Bought $100 and it arrived in under 5 minutes.
buy more. Amazon gift card rarely do 10%, last time was from Aldi Amazon physical gift card
No. I do not buy from Amazon often so this is enough.
had to use Chrome, but worked with a Wise Visa card.
bought 5x500, CBA card, no issue, payment went through in less than a min, got the giftcard in 2 mins
Went through on my Bankwest credit card, but card was locked a couple of hours later…lol.
Had to call up to unlock it.
I'll keep an eye on my one…only bought $100 card though, so hopefully no issues
Best deal for Black Friday. Wish there are more like this happening every few months.
Bought, using Chrome app - no payment issue. Gift cards received within 5 mins.
Tip for anyone stuck loading on the payment screen. turn off your adblocker in your browser.
Bought 3x with Amex, all different times and worked fine … I did use 3 different emails plus have the safeKey thing on as well.
what safekey thing
Maybe this mob — https://safekey.be/?
Its their version of OTP, https://www.americanexpress.com/au/merchant/safekey-protecti… so you probably need to set this up first because the 2nd and 3rd orders required this. 1st one didn't
I bought 2500 successfully, and then I tried on different remote computers with different IPs (not VPN), various payment methods, emails, and names, but it doesn't work anymore. I wonder why?
It worked for me with time with 2nd purchase using a different device, wife's account & supplementary card, and different shipping address.
HSBC, ING , virgin didn’t work. Only commbank worked .
Did you try all these cards in the same order, or, created separate orders once one payment failed?
My HSBC went through fine first go requiring OTP.
thanks, just got $100 as I don't purchase from Amazon that often
ya,, normally i only use amzn credit on consumables
Free money! Thanks op got $500 and bought some nappies
Multiple cards, multiple browsers, multiple emails all failed. Contacted bank said it's not on their end, contacted giftcards CS, said it looks like it's blocked on their side and head office will investigate… Couldn't give me any reason, never purchased through them before
Try desktop Chrome with all ad-blockers and tracking-type-blocker extensions disabled.
Thanks mate, tried that with no luck.
You could try using a phone and disable wifi and instead use 4g. Some people say that works.
Westpac with OTP worked, thank you OP!
same
Have you received any confirmation email, yet?
Mine has been close to an hour, card has been charged but no confirmation email or gift card code received so far.literally just paid and no nothing in 5 mins…
@gazer: Never mind.
Seems all it took was me writing here that I had not received anything and it came through the same moment. lol
No joy with a CBA or Bankwest Mastercard. Bankwest i get as far as receiving a code via SMS, but fails once entering that. Using a CBA card i cannot even get that far.
Bankwest fraud team called me. Verified i intended to make this purchase, and once confirmed, asked me to try again and it worked.
So mine went through… but not email with the details or the card? How long does it take?
Thanks OP for the deal
experienced bargainers how does the gift card work?
Do we need to "activate" it on our own Amazon account?
Can the gift cards be used among different amazon accounts?Reason why asking is because our cousins Annie & Bob have amazon prime membership and we sometimes use their accounts to buy stuff.
Example
If I was buying an $80 item with a $100 gift card on cousin Annie's account, is the $20 leftover credit left on Annie's account? Can I use the $20 leftover credit on Bob's account?
Thanks all!
No, the left over credit cannot to be transferred to another account.
You're provided a code which you use to redeem the gift card. This becomes useable credit in your Amazon account.
So I don't think there would be any way to split the credit between two accounts, you would redeem your $100 card in cousin Annie's account, and she would be left wth $20 credit in her account after the $80 purchase.
Thanks for that
So it seems like the best way is to buy multiple quantities of smaller amounts
Eg, 10x $50
and these 10 cards can be redeemed with any account?
Yes, no reason why that wouldn't work. The terms do say "One order per customer per day" but I've bought 2 today without a problem. I think specifically it means 1 x $2500 per day.
Yezzir, that's what I did. Split into smaller amounts so it is not locked into a single account unnecessarily.
Does anyone know if GCs can be claimed as a work related expense?
I have done so in the past, as gifts for employees. YMMV.
How would that work?
I got off my wifi and just used mobile data, that solved my problem. Purchased $1k!
Thanks for sharing, worked for me too!
After trying the whole morning without any success!
So i assume this website is legit right?
Yezzir
The website is owned and operated by Coles Group.
After 3 hours still no email. Has this worked for any Hotmail accounts out there??
Yes, it showed up in my Hotmail junk email within approximately 5 minutes.
I am currently experiencing this, anyone else?
Check junk folder
also received zero emails.
I have contacted support, and they are inundated with orders. "Please allow up to 4 hours to receive them"
thanks for sharing this!
When we buy something on Amazon, how many gift cards can we redeem/stack for that purchase?
eg if shopping cart purchase was $100,
can we use 5x $20 gift cards?I've only used one single gift card coupon for a purchase hence asking
You just add all of your gift cards to your gift card balance and use the balance to pay for the order.
What a garbage website. Tried BoM, Wise, ING, Westpac on incognition, various devices and networks.
You have some adblocker running. Had no issues first time purchasing from my phone
Even overseas visa card works
yes mine worked
has anyone tried more than 2.5k in a day? maybe across two transactions?
Can't seems to purchase, tried most of my debit cards.
Great deal!
order confirmed.
waiting the gc come throughThanks OP! Amex platinum edge first time went through purchases on this website.
Bought 1000$ havent got any email yet :(
Nice deal. Buy first and think later..!
Thanks! CBA didn't work but Citi did
Called bank, called the merchant, both blamed each other, got fraud team to unblock.
Finally advised by Westpac: Transactions are being blocked by Mastercard to the merchant. Mastercard has deemed this website high risk for fraud purposes.Yes,Ive tried 3 cards and find out it should a scam,Im too stupid to giving out my personal information because of the upvotes otherwise dont even bother to try.
It obviously isn't a scam if its owned by Coles. They just need to sort their shit out. Whatever, Wise worked after 6 tries.
Strange that Westpac would say that as I bought a $500 gift card with a Westpac Mastercard without issue, just needed to enter the OTP code that was sent to my phone.
Should be a scam, tried CBA,NAB,ANZ all banks block the website and fail the transaction, guess have a reason. If not this much upvote I wont even try..
I had it fail in Opera, so tried Chrome and still failed on multiple cards. Tried Edge and it worked first time. Was using an NAB CC.
Use Edge, the chrome will fail at payment details, this website is so shlt can't believe its owned by coles as other people said, but coles's website is shlt too just not that shlt so I kind understand
Use your mobile and use mobile data (not wifi). Worked for me
Try desktop Chrome with all ad-blockers and tracking-type-blocker extensions disabled, otherwise the SMS verification window will fail to load.
Worked with Wise card. FYI.
Purchased 20 minutes ago but no email..
have you got yours yet? Same here. I used Gmail.
same here with gmail still waiting
same
I can't even add to cart - button does nothing - on multiple browsers
Edit: clearing cache didn't work, but a different device worked, strange
Bought 500x3 using ING. Used mobile data on phone and disabled all adblockers.
My cards = transaction failed?!?! 3 browsers, phone browser. WTF
try using mobile data rather than your home wifi, seems related to my IP. i was in the same scenario. using mobile data worked for me, nothing else did
That did it! Was painful though, 4G here feels like 1G. Lol. Thanks mate!
NAB failed on 3 devices and 3 browsers each
It's not the bank…I've been online with them troubleshooting for the past 15 mins…no block…coles/the website perhaps?
Worked for me first attempt using Edge browser. No ad blockers / UBlock Origin, no tracking protection enabled.
Maybe give it a try (if you haven't already)
Thanks. Worked no problem first time.
Bought $500 using AMEX and got the GC in 3 minutes.
I used 28 degrees to purchase gift cards. It declined my cba cc&dc and ubank dc before that.
I received email with gift card details within 45 mins.Been waiting for my giftcards to come to my email for the past 25 minutes, still not here :(
No email yet after payment went through on my Amex for over 1h..
It's the free shipping on groceries that does it for me. I live 10km away from the distribution center, I often get a chocolate bar delivered on the same day, if not the next day. Things like that. Saves a trip to Woolies.
