Looks like the 2.0ah model for $95

The model in your comment is also not brushless.

Give this one a miss, I'd expect orange and yellow brands to both have better deals in the pre- and post-Christmas sales.
If you need one urgently, buy this instead:

Will this make a good gift for a new female home owner? Or should I look at Ryobi or Dewalt?

  • +3

Ryobi has the advantage of: a big RYOBI 18V ONE+ so even though a user may only have need for a few tools there is one for everything and availability to see on display at Bunnings stores. They also have products such as the "Ryobi 18V ONE+ Home Essentials Kit" to start off with.

DeWalt is generally more expensive and tougher build and would recommend it if doing a lot of renovations over the years. As a personal preference I really like their ergonomics over Ryobi and other friends who have helped out on weekends with home renovations gravitate towards these tools as well. I like their smaller Powerstack batteries as well.

Bosch green has a good entry level system and for those on a budget with occasional sales on eBay or Amazon and I feel they are good for home users.

Ozito has the convenience of 5 year replacement warranty and budget prices.

So would recommend Ozito, Bosch green and Ryobi for most home users on a budget and DeWalt, Milwaukee for those looking for more heavy lifting and bigger budget and bear in mind weight and ergonomics.

    • Thanks @BlueGlowOne for detailed information. I am looking for driller, mainly hang some items against the metal frame. I tried Ozito and Makita but not enough power. Do you recommend any particular (impact) driller? Thanks in advance!!
