20 volt batteries are the same as the 18v. I have an AliExpress paint sprayer that is meant to use 20v but I stick the 18v battery in, so the physical connector is the same. As for the voltage, 20v is what you get when you measure the battery with no load, 18v when you're measuring it with load. https://www.protoolreviews.com/20v-max-vs-18v-battery-power/
