the fact that you cant fold it backwards and keep it like that is a dealbreaker to me, super annyoing I have to keep a keyboard sticking out to protect my ipad. Anyone who doesnt desire that will enjoy this keybaord.

for the money I wouldve expected some sort of way to have a cover on while being able to lie down my ipad flat but apple gets away wit it.
Ah I see, thank you. I'm guessing the alternative is to simply detach the keyboard each time you want to lie it down?
@dottjt: the maigc keyboard has no such feature to seprate the keyboard from the backplate but yes you must remove the entire cover in order to lie down the ipad, some others allow you to bendback the keyboard and im not sure about detachable keybaords from the back.

Upgraded my apple smart keyboard to the Logitech alternative instead for my ipad and am very much happier.
Pros of the Logitech:
- Full ipad protection
- Keyboard can be folded behind they ipad when wanting to use it in "tablet mode"
- The positions you can have it in, very versatileCons:
- BulkWeight would be about the same, magic keyboard is pretty heavy.
Same. The Logitech combo touch is better in my opinion
I am thinking buy this and return the office work one.
