ATL I'm pretty sure, part of this deal:

Does 140W via USB-PD, QD-OLED panel, glossy screen. Displayport only supports UHBR10 so requires DSC for 4K240, but otherwise hits all the high notes.

indeed, i need that NDIS money too
Keep making nonsensical comments like this and you just might get committed!
..unless you're getting the money because you lack eyesight.. making the OLED useless :)
There’s no Rtings review for it. Its listed price is $3,000, but JB has it for $2,299, and even HP’s own site lists it at $2,299.
So, the price has been inflated to make it seem like a better deal than it actually is.
But at $1,400, it should be fine.
Yeah that's quite true. However as I understand it, all QD-OLED panels are pretty much the same, so the main differences are feature set, aesthetics and price.
240hz and 140W over PD are unique at this price I think. The bezels are a little ugly IMO though.
Sigh…. I paid 1500 yesterday on this very same link…. Anyone know I can ask eBay for the price difference back?
Got a 42” C4 last week for less than $1200. Prefer the bigger size and better HDR over the extra 96hz. And $250 change
Got a link?
Like most deals on home appliances - call around a few stores and chat to sales staff. Different stores and franchises have different KPIs and some staff desperately need to hit a “total monthly revenue” figure even though they've already smashed their other targets and made plenty of comission etc.
Every OLED post there's always someone who comes in saying they got the TV instead.
It's great you're enjoying it, but it's NOT the same as a PC monitor..
Agreed, but good for people to know it exists. Honestly the line is pretty blurred these days. LG C4 is gsync certified with freesync premium pro. I’d wager most people in the market for an oled monitor (ie mostly not staring at spreadsheets all day) should also look at TVs. 42” is super immersive if you have a deep enough desk
250bux for delivery protection 😅😅
Fark that - it’s their responsibility until it reaches you. Auspost won’t even talk to the receiver if an insurance claim needs to be made.
Not sure how this is better than the Alienware 4k 32" OLED for cheaper
Well, it's flat, and the AW isn't..
Quite a few things:
The final point is pretty important - 1st gen panels have lower brightness and suffer much worse burn-in. Also the Alienware has very aggressive pixel shifting which is noticeable to some people.
I am referring to this screen, the aw3225qf - which is also 240hz and is the 3rd gen panel.

I misread this post as being 2k, not 4k resolution, but still - the panel is the same and the price is also
and before you downvote, just put "aw3225qf" into the search bar at the top right of your screen. it's been on sale for $1099

I won't downvote you (and didn't downvote your first comment), but come on man:

That price was for a refurb unit, and was posted 3 months ago, no longer available. The cheapest it has been new is $1208, but again, expired many months ago. The cheapest price I can find now is $1589 at Amazon, nearly $200 more than this deal. If you can find it new cheaper than this deal, please post.
@Dogsrule: the downvote comment wasnt at you, it was at anyone in general lol.
1099 for the refurb from dell, 1219 on sale when it comes up.
either way they are basically the same monitor minus the curve. is all g
AW3225QF is curved and that’s enough for some people to want to avoid it.
How does the warranty apply on the ebay store?
So many cheap 4k 240hz oled monitors, but none seem to have the dual resolution feature
Because its a bigger compromise to both.
Just turn the resolution down to 1080p if you want 1080p, and enjoy it at a crisp and responsive 240hz.
Anyone seen any review on this from like Monitors Unboxed?
