        For sunglasses for men, we primarily have Dirty Dog, Bill Bass, and Carrera. We also have a few Rayban and Oakley currently and are looking to expand our Rayban and Oakley collection before Black Friday.

  What lenses do you use?

    We can do all types of lenses, single-vision, multifocal, bifocals, etc. Our labs vary depending on the job but we cut 95% of our lenses in-store with our technician. Some lenses we have in stock and some we have to order from labs like Hoya and CR labs etc.

    Yes, everything is included and half-price. Progressives, photochromic (transitions), anti-reflective, blue-light, polarised, etc.

        Own frame use is fine, we don't charge an extra fee for using your own frame. You just don't get a warranty on the frame. Keep in mind from our base section (which is the majority of the store), that the frame only costs $20 if packaged with lenses. So you only have to pay $20 extra to get a brand-new frame.

          I am looking through the frames on your website now, as it'll probably be more convenient to do that.

          I am a bit concerned about what sort of turnout you expect - I am disabled, so I cannot stand for a long time in queues.

            @Vy: Hi Vy we are more than happy to accommodate you earlier than the sale date to avoid the rush because of your disability. Keep in mind that because we have so many frames in store the frames on the website are just give a gist as to what we have. If you like something on the website but it is not in store we can order it in for you.

                @Vy: If you need an eye test you can call to book it by calling us or doing it online. If you don't require an eye test feel free to come anytime during business hours. We are open 7 days and Thursdays till 9 pm.

  Hi Ozbargainers, as per my conversation with OP I did visit City Optics today to make use of the black Friday deal. Massive selection of glasses, lovely staff. I ordered my pair (using a frame I already owned because I am extremely picky, not because frames available were bad). Can vouch for the deal being excellent AND the store being good (5 star reviews only on google, with good reason). I need progressives and like transitions, and I've never been able to get such a tricked out pair for so cheap in my life.
