Good coffee. I used to love it during lockdowns.
Discount applied at cart.
I know this joint is no longer Ozbargain’s favorite, but at that price point it is quite ok.
Enjoy

I love their coffee! Highly rate them.

    • Me too, may be i will give it another go. Was running on LimeBlueCoffee for quite a bit, love what they are doing

Why is it no longer our favourite?

I think people were upset with their pricing policies, quality, marketing and support. They used to sell Sunset Boulevard at $25/kg on special back in 2020-21, but the world has changed.

There were a few negged deals back then similar to this

Even though they sometimes post deals here, they never reply to questions from ozbargainers, just post and go. But i still buy constantly from them and their email support is great and friendly.

  • Great coffee just hate paying postage. Rather get some local WA rost.

What do you recommend in WA? I haven't really looked yet. I'm aware of Yahava, but never tried it.

Inglewood postage is free over $50. I buy a couple of bags and freeze some. Then I carefully defrost a few hundred grams at a time.

I have had queen bee coffee, leftfield coffee, rubra and gesha. I find leftfield & queen bee the freshest.

Brightside Coffee gets my vote for WA: https://brightside.coffee/

They post sales on here occasionally. At the moment they've got 50% off bundles and 30% off all other coffee. It gets the bundles down to around $30/kg, free postage over $85 (was over $75 but has just gone up). You can pickup from Osborne Park I believe.

Their Downtown roast is delicious 🤤
And since shipping is free for VIC, its my go-to!

    • Yeh big on the downtown too

    • Mixed feelings on Downtown - I suspect that is the degree of variation of the seasonal blend. A recent kilo that I had was difficult to dial in - but then OK. Previous version that I had seemed to work with the settings I'd used for Roosevelt. Tending to stick to Roosevelt now. Last order was a mix of Roosevelt and Downtown sent interstate for offspring to use (and freeze) - 5kg total order at 60% discount (free shipping).

i use their Downton and consistently been good. i order 2 bags every month

I'm not advertising anything, but have you considered their coffee subscription offer? If you're buying that regularly, this might save you a lot (40% off at a 1bag/2weeks.)
Sorry if I'm bothering you, I get a lot of marketing emails from them advertising me of this that I immediately thought of it when I saw your comment. 😅

Thanks mate. yes i have a subscription and i pause it and buy seperately when they do “special promo” 60%

  • Downtown at $27 delivered each month has me as one happy customer!

  • Why is it not ozb favourite? I've tried many and still keep coming back to Roosevelt and Sunset Blvd. They're the best.

    • See above, there were a few posts downvoted back in a day. I personally liked everything about them and never had issues

Yeah, i was thinking about joining them. Great coffee

    • That's specious reasoning.

Thanks for the reminder. Timely as I just finished up.
Sunset Blvd still my fave blend.

    • Glad i could help. enjoy and have a great weekend

  • @Inglewood Coffee i bought coffee 6 days ago but I haven't seen any dispatch notification.

Can someone please provide an update?

There seems to be multiple complaints on the internet about Inglewood taking 14 days to dispatch coffee during sales.

  • Am I missing something or is there no discount? I'm seeing $62 a kilo for a blend … which I assume is not 50% off.

  • Am I missing something? I trtied to purchase 1kg of decaf seeing $62 assuming 50% off. Discount wasn't seen applied in the cart up to Paypal so I had to stop payment.

  • Seven days since placing an order and still not dispatched. I love the Downtown blend, but I'm afraid the inconsistent dispatch and postage times have me seeking an alternative roaster.

This isn't the first I've experienced this issue with Inglewood, and seemingly there is zero interest in improving this aspect of their business - really unfortunate.

    • Replying to own post - 14 days since ordering, still nothing.

Poor form, especially announcing that there would be delays due to the sale, then immediately advertising and additional sale.
