Dont get fooled by 10th gen.
Sound good, right? Nope. It uses the same igpu as 8th gen!!!
So the price shouldn't be that high….

    • Good point. Thanks for sharing.

yeah I thought surely it can't be too bad

CPU benchmark is 6700 vs 5500 for the intel n100 (used in those $250 mini pc's)

Same everything. Imperceptibly faster. Less old battery and +16GB isn't worth a $200+ premium.

        Where can I find a touch t490 for 300ish?

        • It helps if you are less fussy over model, .e.g. Dell and HP business grade too.

ACT eBay has a few 8 th gen 2 in 1 . Check the ram is upgradable.

          • @bargaino: That's rather a lot like saying you can buy second hand cars cheaper than a Toyota. There's a reason the Toyota is more expensive for what is essentially the same thing.

            • @dzhay: Its like wanting to buy a specific used car, and refusing to believe that a Civic is a substitute for a Corolla. Nobody is telling you to buy a Jazz .

              • @bargaino: I don't think a civic is a fair comparison for Dell lol.
