    No NFC is just. Strange.

Right? I'd have picked one up just to have a toy around with if it had NFC

      • Just get a Nothing 2(a) then

I believe Nothing were targeting market that don't really use NFC (ie India).

That's correct, Carl Pei mention in the press release that their target market (India and China) uses QR codes for their payments instead of NFC card payments.

Budget phones comprising on certain features is not strange at all.

in australia, NFC is a requirement if you want to have any success (apple excluded). it would be like not having WiFi or bluetooth

    • I don't understand why you were negged without explanation. Will it work or not?

All imported phones may be banned.

        • Yes so why was their comment negged?

    • Putting the TAC for this phone (35174083) in to the Telstra checker returns a result of 'not blocked'.

      • Do you reckon it's reliable enough? I mean, could it be " not blocked yet"?

  • I can see $35 delivery fee.

    • Everyone can, including Prime users. It's an optional shipping upgrade.

      • You are right, no NFC is a deal breaker anyway.

120hz display on a budget phone. That's amazing.

    • kind of amazing people value it so highly on a phone

      • Can't go back to 60Hz when you've used 120Hz

        • that's one reason i'm avoiding 120 (though my ipad's 120 and my old phone doesn't bother me at all)

  • $292 at Amazon now (from Germany)

    • Updated deal headline. Thanks!
