best deal was when it came with a HP Victus 15L for $800+ lol

    this is a good deal

  • That's a good deal, it's energy efficient, I have a 4070

  • I am interested in a 4060 based machine +CPU that does not bottleneck at 1080p gaming, I don't require it to be upgraded, just use it until it dies. What's the cheapest package have you seen so far and will it get cheaper in the next week or so? "Real" Grey Friday's sale….

Quickly looked to see if the 4060ti was cheaper than the last $507 deal from this eBay store but it’s actually more expensive at $527.. guess I’ll keep waiting

    • What's your use case to decide between 4060 and 4060ti? I'm finding it difficult to decide. My wife will be using it to play games and stream at the same time, 1080p up to 75fps.

just get the 4060 then, because base model 60ti is only slightly faster and has same amount of VRAM. if 16gb 60ti drops to a sensible price (it won't) then that could be a good buy, despite 60ti not having enough performance to fully utilise all that VRAM.
if your wife is playing and streaming slightly older and/or indie games, 4060 is good. if she's gonna play the latest COD and/or other new AAA games, 4070 would be far superior. a strong 16gb vram card would be ideal but is often too expensive.
theres been couple deals that had 7800x3d + 4070 ti super (16gb) for about 2000 dollars which is a banger deal if you are shopping for the whole thing. oh and as long as twitch doesn't support av1 streaming nvidia card would remain better for the use case.

      • Literally just RDR2 4k60 via DLSS, and GTA IV haha.

    Waiting for the 5070

if you want a nice mini pc these are good.

    • is this the best bang for buck these days?

      what res/framerate can it handle?

Stick a low profile version of this in a Dell Optiplex 7060.

        • That's pretty cool.
Don't know if I trust that random brand PSU though.

        • yep if you can pickup a 7060 cheap you will have a pretty solid pc.

Hardly a deal. Centrecom have this $399 delivered and no one is buying these https://www.centrecom.com.au/pny-geforce-rtx-4060-8gb-verto-…

Scorptec have the RX7600 $375 and no one is buying that https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/graphics-cards/amd/10412…

      Hardly a deal.

      ?

Centre Com is $405+ after surcharges, this card is $380 after using the standard and readily available eBay gift cards

Scorptec have the RX7600 $375 and no one is buying that

That's because the 7600 is garbage and offers nothing the 6600 XT didn't already offer 3.5 years ago

      • +5

Can pick up right away Centrecom no surcharge. But no one is doing it because anything close to $400 for that gpu is a rip off. Everyone’s waiting for proper price drops.

        • When the AI hype freezes over unfortunately.

I have been living under a rock and so sorry for this noob question.

Do cards like these have the LHR throttling now or was that a temporary measure during the pandemic to hit back at miners?

    Thanks
