I had a knee injury that saw me requiring the use of a walking stick and was waiting for surgery for nearly a year. To make life a bit easier when at my desk I embedded some neodymium magnets into the head of my walking stick, cost under $10 and I had a lot of leftover magnets. Would do that again 100% over having some expensive unsightly attachment on my walking stick.
