nice, JB usually has these for 10 bux though… good timing though, about to switch my wife to telstra as her optus contract ran out…

  • Hi rep, a quick question on the prepaid starter kit. If I decide to keep my original SIM, can I get a swap of a $30 recharge voucher at a Telstra Shop with this starter kit?

    • Hi wtfnodeal,

This is a deal on the pre-paid SIM starter kit, not a recharge offer.

      Thanks.

    • WTF!? NO DEAL BUDDY! LOL

      • He was replying to the users name.

Maybe their name shouldnt be allowed as its confusing

  • Is there data in this and if so, how long to use?

Amusing to see a rep saying NODEAL to a customer and calling another ANIMAL. ;)

711, bigw, coles, woolworth have all donethis deal for $10 before, why cant the company/wholesaler/telstra cant match the $10 price?

    Hello all,

Unfortunately our online shop has run into some technical difficulties with this promotion and will have to be rolled back. We are looking into the issue and will try and get this rectified as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It's ok! Since YOU are Telstra, one would expect you to come back with a better offer than the resellers', let's say $5 for a $30 sim :)

    • +3

These "technical difficulties" wouldn't have anything to do with the lack of positives on this deal would it?

      Hi Team,

We are back in action - sorry once again for the delay.

      Thanks.

it's okay… you're only Australia's largest telecommunications provider. These things happen.

    Too expensive at $15

  • I still have 8 sims from the $10 offers.

These will be available from coles in WA at least from wednesday for the same price, the words "online exclusive offer" and "not available in store" above may not comply with australian consumer law. yes/no/maybe?

Check in your state coles catalogue that starts wednesday 12 dec 2012 or for WA ozbees check page 36 here.ay have to enter your postcode.

I don't see why not. It means you can't walk into a Telstra store and buy it for that price. Other stores do the same thing regularly.

  • I got a few sims left from the $10 deals. No way will I spend $15. I also have a few $10 vodafail sims. Their 3G network on my train line has improved to be slightly usable!
Feel free to stock up as much as you want. This is not a deal. $10 pm is all people should be spending on mobile phone bills.
