I have 2x 27" Dell monitors that I specifically bought for working at home during COVID-19 lockdowns. They're an ideal size for qHD resolution. I do not have to use scaling in Windows to make the text readable.

      • I’ve got 2x24” dell monitors at home, worth doing the upgrade?

Actually I’ll stick to my dell, their height adjustable which I like and looks like these lenevo is just the one height

        • Somewhat worth it but not a huge deal.

          • @OldSchoolHarry: Best to do 2 32 inch i find monitors the bigger the better. Unsure of why companies skimp on 20 inch and 24 inch monitor when it makes a hell of a lot of differebce. Perhaps the staff bludge all day or boss have not worked a day in their life idklol.

@mikeoxlarge: Depends if you have a large table setup, I’ve just got a standard size and I bought 2 x 34” monitor that was on sale at aldi, after just installing the first one woah it was way too massive, returned both immediately so yeah if I had to upgrade maybe to 2 c 27” but 2 x 3” is way too big, even thinking about it 2 x 32” would still be too big too

Yes. Went to dual QHD a few years ago. Well worth it for the extra real estate .

    • no way, if anything a larger screen than this is better suited to take advantage of 4k

    • 4k is a decent improvement for text using MacOS with scaling. QHD is still perfectly usable.

      Should’ve gone to Specsavers.

      Defiantly NO USB C cable

Why are they defiant? Are they holding out for USB D?

        😂😂😂

  • Is this worth it for reading text WFH? How much are these normally?

    • -5

It's worth spending 50 extra for 4k on same size, text will be much more crisper

      • +4

Which one is the extra $50?

  • Lenovo monitors don't seem to have VESA mount.
You cannot use standard VESA monitor arms (or use special adapter from Lenovo mount to VESA mount)

I've had multiple Lenovo monitors and run them at work, they've all had VESA, but usually only 100mm.

Spec sheet says this should have 100mm VESA too

      • oh it has!
looks similar to my lenovo monitor and thought it doesn't have it.
        Thanks!

        • +3

I have Dell monitor and the VESA mount is concealed under a panel - maybe yours does too?

    • They had it for ages now

  • @samedream Is this one a USB-C Monitor? Seems it doesn't have a USB-C port ..

Defiantly NO USB C cable included OR USB connectivity. HDMI cable is.
Variety of input ports including 2xHDMI2.1 and 1xDP1.4

    • You would want to get the UHD variant, but it is $100 more - https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/lenovo-27-…

    • Appears the feature list is incorrect and images doesn't show any USB-C port and doesn't have an in-built USB hub to support as well

    • went to local OW and check it. no USB-C. only HDMI and DP.
Bought 2 QHD to setup dual screen at work.
      Will see how it looks.

  • Thanks op, just bought one. There are plenty in Ringwood store VIC.

How does it compare to this? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/869817

  • Great price

  • What an ugly base. I should neg this deal for a crime against aesthetics.
