Yup, the way the promo was worded, once it cart the promo would be locked in. Instead, they potentially swipe some personal info and a contact email address plus shove a crappy discount code in your face.

Damnit I think I was actually on early enough to get it, but I was just looking at the price and didn't add it to my cart. Oh well, it would have just taken up space in my kitchen.
Same for me, i'd set an alarm to log on at 11:56am. I just decided at 12:01 to add to cart and see if the discount came up, which it did. But then I got errored out when inputting shipping address details.
A bit annoying that they advertised the promo as 'first 100 customers to add to cart' when it didnt play out that way. Was hoping to gift it to my family for Xmas

I had an order confirmation screen on the Breville site advising that I'd received an e-mail (I should have taken a screenshot). Nothing in the 'Orders' section though. PayPal charge went through.

Added to cart and then when i went to my cart it said 'cart is empty'. Added again and tried paying with PayPal -> server error. Tried credit card -> server error. Tried again and success. Surely with all this time wasting I didn't actually get one if they only have 100 units.

I had one in cart at $19.74 - took a while for payment option to come through, Clicked on PayPal and PayPal wanted $139 - Still, more adrenaline rush than playing the pokies (and cheaper)
