The Breville Jaffle Maker (usually $139.95) will be available for $19.74 to the first 100 customers to add to their digital basket on Friday, October 25 @ 12PM.
The sale runs between 12pm-1pm so set your alarms.

Just got mine. Took a couple of minutes.
i was madly refreshing the product page and the price never changed.. added it to the cart anyway after 30 secs and it came up as 19.74 but by then the game was over.
same here, was expecting the price to update on the product page like how Ebay does it.
I had payment taken, but no confirmation as yet.
Well, the website broke and it was fully sold out in less than 2 minutes. The one I had in my cart was simply removed, and they had a pre-written notice saying "demand was too high, here's a 10% discount". Bad promo, not fun at all.
Pointless and a scam. Breville can stick it!

Nope. I had the screen confirmation that I got an order through - but no email confirmation and when you go to orders page there's nada.

Man this is annoying…. Their email said 12-1pm AEST, and their product page changed it to 12-1pm AEDT…. So, missed out. Idiots.
Had that server error during payment. Continued using credit card, PayPal and kept looping. A few minutes later I gave up and checked email, saw PayPal payment confirmation for $19.74 stamped at 12:02pm. Didn’t get to the order confirmation screen nor an order email received. Not sure if I got it.

Mine is showing up in "My Orders", got the confirmation email and my card has been charged.
I did hit start trying to checkout right on 12:00 and took me 4 tries, but eventually got one.

For those wondering after payment has gone through, this is what should happen next:
Got a thank you email (at 12:02pm)
Got another email which contains the Digital receipt as confirmation of order (at 12:23pm)

I used CC.
My Paypal option had a server error, their integration failed for me like for a lot of others but some people say Paypal worked, definitely a YMMV situation with the payment options.
Yeah I tried CC first and it wouldn’t go through. I kept hitting the Complete Order button and nothing. Then tried Paypal and it worked. Got a confirmation of order and order number on the final page, but no email. So weird. I literally would have had a completed order by 12:01 if the CC had worked.
I’m hoping Paypal people are just taking longer for confirmation emails, but I doubt it.
Just noticed I have a pending charge of $19.74 on my credit card in addition to my PayPal.
I think they will be dropped as I never got an order confirmation. Worst case will open a case with PayPal and credit card to get money back.

It says on the Paypal app with the transaction:
‘Pending’ (plus a clock emoji with mini pause symbol inside it)
“This is a temporary authorisation to make sure your payment method will cover the requested amount. Your payment method will be charged when your transaction is completed.”
Hopefully this doesn’t give them a reason to cancel legit transactions that received completed order numbers on the website.
Honestly can get up to the point for a paypal process within that 2 mins, I think they should honour with this promotion. :\

Yeah I think if you got an order confirmation number on the final page then they should honour it. Having said that, I just checked my email and the confirmation email came through an hour ago! So it seems all the Paypal payments were just waiting to make sure money was available in the account, as it said on the app.

It was never about the Jaffle maker (at least not for me as I have a few sitting in a cupboard!). It’s about the thrill of nabbing a bargain and the satisfaction of achievement of being one in a hundred!

Got an order confirmation including order number on Breville site and card has charged, but no confirmation email or order visible in my orders. Charge sitting as pending, as all card charges do. Time will tell
Just rang their customer service, for those who paid with PayPal and had payment taken but have received no confirmation email from Breville sorry but you missed out.
Rep told me the payment will drop off in next couple of days.
Figured this would be the case.
I think in good faith they should accept those orders being they have stock available to fulfil and they failed to implement appropriate processes or controls to avoid this situation.
It would be good to have at least a courtesy email from them about it. I'm revoking my vote. Pity you can't change it to a neg.

I didn’t get the order thanks order received page but it took payment and I can’t access the cart anymore in my Breville account it just comes up as a blank page. The little cart icon still has a 1 on it as well which made me think it would eventually go through.

Sounds like there's some sort of human intervention or scheduled batch processing with PayPal orders.

This WAS my situation, but at 6:51pm today I got an email confirming order details and that the item would be shipped. This was the first confimation that my order went through, and paypal changed from Authorised to paid.
I just received my confirmation just now.
My order was placed at 12:00PM and I just got the "Thank You" email at 5:29PM

I even created a Breville account a few days ago in anticipation. Got one of the products in my cart and then 2FA tripped me over just before the finish line. 🤦♀️
Yeah I did that, too. But last night I thought ‘I wonder if there’s more shit I’ll have to do once I get to the cart’ so I put the jaffle maker in my cart and yeah, there was. Luckily it kept all the extra info and with a refresh just changed the price of the jaffle maker, so I could go through more quickly. I’m sorry you weren’t able to get one 😞
What a waste of time. I was there, logged in and added to cart the instant it was at the right price and couldn’t pay. I have a screenshot of my cart so might see if I can get them to take pity on me. The website sh@t itself.
