I guess waffles and donuts are pretty popular…
Funny how theres no salad maker or wheatgrass shot maker.
damn right, it's better than yours.
I can teach you, but I have to charge
in terms of long term usefulness, I recommend the popcorn machine. you can control the butter and salt you add and it becomes a pretty cheap and healthy(ish) snack. minimal cleaning too. other stuff are more one-use-store-away type things I've found
edit: haven't tried this particular popcorn machine though
Totally right :)
It looks like an air popcorn machine? I'd never buy one of those, the popcorn tastes like cardboard. Better off buying a proper oil popcorn machine.
Have a Breville Crazy popper air popcorn machine - it has a little bowl on the top that melts the butter while its popping.
Works great and smells good too.
dutch pancake replaced by dutch oven
Speaking of dutch oven … http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Q4r…
$10 waffle machine! That's a good deal!
I bought one for myself. It makes very nice waffles.
Really? What recipe did you use? I got one and followed a recipe on food.com (the first one that comes up on google) and they tasted pretty awful :( I don't know if it was the batter or the machine that gave it that funny taste…
3 cups of self raising flour + 100g butter + 3 eggs +1 cup of milk + 2.5 cups of sugar. 1: you add in the flour and rub in the butter to resemble breadcrumbs, add in the sugar. 2: beat the 3 eggs and 1 cup of milk together in a separate bowl. 3: use an electric egg beater to mix together the flour+ the egg and milk until it is 'glugy'-note it should be runny, if it is thick you will need to add in more milk to make it less thick. 4: batter is done, use a spoon to put it onto the waffle maker. wait 3 mins and you are done (once the steam stops). And yes I am a guy. =)
Cool-ill give that a go :)
Probably because I'm an Asian…
How do these popcorn machines work? Do you need to buy the microwaveable popcorn or can I just cut the kernels from the corn?
Seriously?
Definitely Asian
Has to be trolling.. Right?
You buy bags of un-popped corn from the supermarket. This is different from the microwave popcorn stuff you are referring to.
Regards
Danieljust buy the packets of cooking popcorn in the snack aisle. it's the bag of kernals. it is different to the microwaveable ones
scored the last popcorn maker from BigW northlakes. taking it into the office.
This popcorn machine may be used to roast coffee (and nothing beats freshly roasted coffee!). $10 is a great price. You just need to check that it has the internal heating vents on the side of the chamber rather than the bottom.

Speaking of which, can anyone still find the Sunbeam GrindMaster EM0360 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/62298 for around the $30 mark?
Nope - finally out of stock at BigW. They seem to have had an aweful lot of them though so you're very unfortunate to have missed out.
When I was looking the other day there were a couple of places that had them for around the $60 mark, and having used one, it's still not a bad buy at that price. The equivalent stick blender alone (same as what comes with the Grindmaster) sells for around $55.
This popcorn machine may be used to roast coffee
that sounds familiar…

http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/59098#comment-690742Hey, nothing wrong with trying to convert more to the 'home popper roast' cause?
Does anyone know about the quality of the milkshake maker? Is it hard to clean?
you just get a second milkshake cup filled with water and give it a quick go in the machine to clean it.
The milkshake maker looks all white-plastic and unbranded (the only thing not plastic from the outside is its rod attaching the frothing-blade-thing). I was going to get one, but since I already have a blender and I have been making milkshakes in that fine I didn't buy one of these $10 milkshake makers.
My friend has one of these and it's fine. The only thing it wont do is pulverise a banana if you want to make it healthy. It does handle eggs though.
I bought one because my son burnt out my $300 blender running it too long after school every day.
Cheap insurance
Good machines to burn down a relatives house
I love how its a limited time sale.
I think it's more likely a limited time frame for them to sell them as last minute gifts because come the 25th let's see how many of these novelty gifts are still selling.Saw these being sold at Woolies too
I'll buy this for a friend so she can bring all the boys to her yard.
