  • There was a 5% off coupon for the 45 which bought it down to 21.03

The 5 packs makes storage a little easier

    • When was this?

      Not showing now :’(

      • I checked yesterday but it wasn't there either.

      • Oh. Literally 2 mins ago

        • What - is it targeted? I was on the website lol

          • @trixieb: I have it also

            "Subscribe & Save Coupon
5% extra saving on the first Subscribe & Save delivery, applied at checkout."

            • @Plutolio: Thanks. Didn't see this coupon. I was on the website while writing the offer.

  • Got the 48 pack. Thanks

    Aldi sells them for $19.98 (2x24; 9.99x2=19.98)
You can't leave your shiity business to Bezo.

I always appreciate seeing stuff like this.

Although I still go to Amazon for a lot as I don't have a car and Aldi do not deliver. But thanks for the info.

Neither do amazon to rural and regional post codes

        • Always good to have multiple options then.

        • +1

Yeah every Amazon deal was being negged by regional folks during the changeover of delivery costs.

          It is what it is

        • I'm (VERY) regional and surprisingly this is able to be purchased?

That's right, also the quality of Quilton is so so bad recently. Not worth it now

      • +5

Prefer Quilton to Sorbent and Kleenex. Sorbent has gone downhill even more. Used to be my favourite.

I got a 4-ply gold recently and had to double check the packaging afterwards to make sure I didn’t accidentally get something else because it seriously felt like a 2-ply max. The plies are so thin that you can barely pry them open. Eventually they’re going to make them microscopically thin. Instead of listing the number of rolls, length of sheets etc, they seriously need to start listing the net weight of each roll so they do the pull the wool over our eyes.

When you can undercut the competition with a similar product and better pricing - thats a Confidence trick.

    • How's the quality of Aldi's 3 Ply vs Quilton? Although I'm seeing a lot more ppl complaining about Quilton's loss of quality

      • How different can it really be..
Should set up a double blind test and let us know.

      • much better

same price at Big W. $21.6 for woolworth extra customer.

You have to lug it around tho

      • +2

How hard is it to carry it to the car I mean seriously?

        • +3

Pretty hard if got no arms

          • +4

@G-rig: Would be pretty hard to wipe with no arms too

            • @brou: Wait for the bidet brigade

In their wisdom amazon have decided they don't want to deliver to us. We are still paying for that service. I reckon the Aldi toilet paper is better and cheaper anyway. Thanks Amazon!

I’m sure their accountants and actuaries do their homework.

    • Ususally they don't deliver this sort of stuff anymore to us(started early last year I believe), but it's not saying they won't for me this time. Have you checked?

      GGrr. Me Too

Sorry, Quilton 3 Ply Toilet Tissue (180 Sheets per Roll, 11x10cm), Pack of 48 Rolls (no Inner Packs) can't be shipped to the address you selected. Please remove the item or select another address.

Reject shop has the same 48 pack for $19 today when I walked past.

Not sure if all reject shops have the same deals.

  • Still the Gold standard in date roll and better than the Aldi 3 ply IMHO.
    Your ass will thank you!

Wait, the folks on this thread are saying otherwise.

I’ve had terrible luck with the 48-pack arriving with badly damaged plastic packaging, and visibly dirty paper - making it unfit for purpose. On the last occasion, the initial delivery, plus the two replacements, were all damaged. The final delivery was the worst, as it was clear the plastic had split all the way down, and been taped back together, with most of the rolls appearing dirty. At least the 45-pack is shipped in a box!
