I got it for $295 by signing up to JB Hi-Fi perks to get $10 off.
I then purchased a $309 gift card via Bupa rewards at 4.5% discount for $295.
Didn't want to put $295 in the title as not everyone would be able to get this price.
Good reviews on this camera and I was waiting for it to go on special again.

Please do elaborate?
by using a giant sun blocker
by hitting it with a cricket bat.
i mean, break in at night when the sun is down.Any kid with a $10 Wifi Jammer from ebay/Temu.
By Putting sunscreen on?
I feel like cameras are more of a deterrent than anything these days anyway (and not even great at that). Thieves just wear a hood/mask and use stolen plates so the footage is mostly useless.
All of that assumes the police would care enough to look into it.
Agreed.
But it can be used for other purposes such as monitoring your kids, pets. parcels…Exactly.
I’d say the best defence is probably an angry looking big dog like a rottie.
Will my kelpie and my labrador do?
@Jimothy Wongingtons: most labradors have a hefty bark on them - make it so they are heard not seen (e.g. solid fence or inside) and they are effective guard dogs. My neighbour's one sounds like its going to devour you and it keeps that bark up until it gets all the way to you before starting to wag its tail and lick you - its bizarrely scary holding still as it approaches and trusting it won't kill you… and then not at all once it turns it off and becomes happy. They aren't all like that tho - some are always too happy and not scary like the one they used to have
It has a battery you know
Genuine question - can the battery be charged in other methods than the solar panel? Any idea what the connector is / if the cable is included in the box?
It has a usb-c charging port. No idea if there's a standalone cable in the box or not.
@marshallx33: Yes, inside the box there is a USB-C male to USB-C female cable and a USB-C to USB-A cable. https://youtu.be/QhgbtuhPy1s?si=_3OnDbnbxa7z7kPp
It still records to sad card even if wifi is down.
You can price beat Harvey Norman and get it from Bunnings for $286.20. It's even cheaper if you have a gift card.
Can you use Powerpass if you price beat?
can they match beat match price with 10% with special orders at bunnings?
if so what do you do, go into the shop and go to special orders desk and ask them to do it for you i guess? You can. I did it for the Eufy Homebase 3. got it price matched from Device Deal then 10% off even for special order.
Yes just go to the desk, don't bother with the front counters. My best bet is you call online team and pay over the phone or at bunnings for pick up. Front staffs are always anal when it comes to price match special order
OMG i was just looking for this
I hate the idea of built-in solar panel in most of Eufy new cams but thankfully this one is removable. Do they include a longer cable to attach to the solar panel if we remove it?
can you use your perks voucher in store?
We got this eufy 4 pack with base station from costco $579.99 delivered.
What are your thoughts?
Seems pretty good thus far. Can't complain for the price. If you're not in a rush they were on sale a few months ago for $100 less.
I got this with the spend $300+ get $30 back perk offer a few months ago and LOVE this!
I actually ended up direct connecting it via mains as it has a super long USB-C cable and so I threaded the cable down to my garage power sockets. The software is great and I just highly recommend this device. How is this camera with direct sunlight? I'm in WA.
I cannot say as my camera points south on a south facing garage wall so it does get any direct sunlight on the lens.
Now with an extra 10% off ($287.19) with JB Perks code through this deal that was posted
Crazy buying a solar powered security camera…….so easy to defeat if you wanted to
