Please read the following terms & handy tips carefully:

1. To participate in the $5 bonus cashback promotion, you must be a member of TopCashback.com.au and must first activate the bonus prior to making an eligible transaction at Amazon Australia.
2. After activation, transaction must be made between 00:00 and 23:59 AEDT (08/10/2024).
3. The bonus is eligible on all Amazon categories, excluding purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases. Note: payments made with Amazon gift cards are eligible for the bonus.
4. Your order must be made in a single transaction and may contain more than one item, but the order total must be at least $40 (inclusive of GST). Sales may report to your account excluding GST so the amount shown may be less than $40 (this is ok). Multiple items in an order will report as separate items in your account (this is ok).
5. The bonus cashback will not appear in your TopCashbackAU account until your Amazon order tracks to your account, and will be payable once your Amazon order is payable. Amazon tracking is not instant, and typically takes 1-7 days to report.
6. The bonus cashback is over and above the advertised category cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
7. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed, and the bonus cashback is limited to one per TopCashbackAU member.
8. The bonus cashback may not automatically apply to purchases where a missing cashback claim needs to be lodged. If this is the case and your claim is successful, you may need to raise a separate support ticket to be awarded the bonus.
9. TopCashbackAU will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion.

11. Any fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

22. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
23. GST, other taxes and delivery fees.

Handy tips:

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-7 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant). For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost.   • Why the need to clear cart?
    I have so many things inside I want to check out at a later date, but prefer to keep it in there rather than Wishlist.

    I have been using TCB with items in cart and I think they have been tracking regardless. But it’s one reason I also keep going back to CB and SB sometimes to just avoid track-fail

      It's a requirement across all cashback partners and has to do with attribution. From my understanding, if an item is already in cart, then Amazon deems that attribution was not via a cashback partner but rather a generic purchase. Please abide by the terms to ensure tracking success. Thanks.

  • If we click through the shop button from the top cashback app and then it opens up the Amazon app, will it still track fine?

    • Yes. App2App tracking is enabled for the Android app. However with the iOS app it remains within the native browser (for now). Mobile web to Amazon app works as well. Important thing is to ensure you tap out from TCB first. Thanks.

        • My apologies for not being clearer. Tap out from the TopCashback app or mobile browser and let the Amazon app automatically open. Some members open the Amazon app independently believing this will track, which it won't. Hope this helps.

    Had a couple of cashbacks declined by Amazon recently (tracked ok). After submitting enquiry to TCB got the standard response of "The retailer has rejected your claim as they noted that you have either cancelled/refunded your transaction, used an ineligible discount code at check-out or bought form a category ineligible for cashback at the time of purchase."

    Definitely haven't cancelled or returned, and everything should have been an eligible category if even only 1% at the time. I can't remember now if both or any had a store voucher, but didn't enter any codes manually. I did notice both items took a while to ship (10 and 12 days). The 12 days one was part of an order of 3 different items, 2 shipped next day and cashback was approved for those.

    Luckily only small amounts in this case, but something to be wary of.

      I had this recently too - the cashback was about $30
      Kind of annoying as nothing at all like that happened. This was with shopback, but exact same message. Amazon is being a bit of a dick, and not just with TCB.
      Mine was a single item.

        I can't speak for your issue with Shopback, but did you use any Amazon credit, or had item in cart prior? Just some things to be wary of.

        • nope, never (when I want cashback) , I am very aware of all that. And I never add to cart until I buy.

          I only use amazon credit when I buy things with 0% cashback

        • Same, no to both as well.

          I can't work out why they'd would have rejected it. In the case of the 3 item order, 1 part was a Wuben E7, 1 was the headstrap. Both added to cart at same time, same seller, same category I believe. Except the torch (rejected) took 12 days to ship (and may have had a store voucher applied), the headstrap (approved) was next day.

        • I've just seen this post about similar occurrences at Shopback.
          Seems they've sorted something with Amazon now though and have started paying out the cashbacks so don't if the issue was with Amazon or Shopback.

          Something you could look in to for us?

    Does this mean just one $5 bonus if a Subscribe & Save item is in the cart and subsequent $40+ orders must be normal purchases? Or is this a non-issue since there is only one $5 bonus cashback with every $40+ order anyway?

      Only the initial S&S order is ever eligible for cashback. If you were to stay subscribed, you wouldn't receive cashback on any subsequent deliveries for that S&S.

      • Ah got it - so it is ok to add Sub & Save items into the cart and checkout. Only the auto-renewal deliveries will not have any cashback which makes sense since they aren't tracked orders anyway. Thanks

  • What if I make one eligible purchase at 10am, and then another non-eligible at 11am? It seems the "Clicks to Merchants" record of the 2nd purchase has already overwritten the one for the first, without the first even being tracked.

      That's fine. All your clicks are still in the back-end but 'hidden' from you. What see here is the very last click you make to any given retailer. If you really need/want to see all the clicks you made, you can see them here by simulating a cashback claim. Hope this helps.

  • i tried twice to use TCB today for amazon purchase and got blocked by amazon saying its unauthorised party trying to access my amazon acc. Never happened to shopback or cash reward…..

  • I can see TCB are allowing Amazon first S&S order… SB have denied my claim for same thing even though I can’t find it in their T&C. Can anyone confirm if they are meant to also cover first S&S?

    • ShopBack also covers the first S&S in eligible categories. Cashback for ineligible categories will be rejected.

      There is cashback on all categories in this TopCashback offer (with a few exclusions) so it is easier to shop to be eligible for the bonus.
