Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the offer where the first 25,000 eligible Amazon.com.au customers who are invited by Amazon, whether through email, push notification or onsite marketing at Amazon.com.au or in the Amazon App while signed into their Amazon customer account can receive $10 off a purchase of $39 or more eligible item(s) when they use the promotional code JOINPRIME10 at Checkout if they sign-up for a Prime membership before 2 December 2024 (“Offer”). This Offer ends at 11.59pm (Sydney time) on 2 December 2024 or the Offer being fully redeemed. The promotional credit must be redeemed by 11.55pm (Sydney time) 31 December 2024.
To redeem this Offer, eligible customers must be one of the first 25,000 to sign-up for a Prime membership before 2 December 2024 and redeem their promotional credit before 31 December 2024. The $10 promotional credit will be available within 24 hours of Prime sign-up. Eligible customers must add at least $39 worth of eligible item(s) to their cart at Amazon.com.au or in the Amazon App, enter the promotional code at Checkout, and the discount will be applied to the eligible items. If a customer does not add any eligible items to cart, the promotional code and this Offer will not apply. The promotional code is single use and can only be redeemed once by eligible customers. If a customer cancels or returns any eligible item purchased using the promotional code, they will only be refunded the price paid for those eligible items (that is, less the value of the promotional code) and the promotional code will be invalidated.

For anyone taking up this offer, I suggest taking a screenshot of the "Congratulations, you are eligible!" screen. I accepted a similar offer a few months ago, but the code didn’t work. I had to use live chat, and after some back and forth, they eventually credited me the $10.

    • I agree with you - you’re right. And this has actually happened to me with multiple promos, like 2 or 3. And I’ve only contacted once, because I feel so awkward asking them again to apply the credit

I got this on my free trial again

  • I’ll rejoin if and when they start shipping regional again. Until then they can eat a D#ck.

    • WA, username definitely checks out here.

Sometimes I wonder if the push for high density living is caused by the convenience of building Amazon Prime memberships. With all the available land in this country we still squeeze more people into the urban areas and build upwards. More regionals is where it should be with decent autobahn roads interconnecting everyone.

Ah well, it is what it is.

      • Public Infrastructure to support sprawl and regional development is a lot more expensive per capita than density. People also want access to hospitals, schools and other public facilities. So even for regional centres it makes more sense for their to be regional hubs

Marks as redeemed but not applying at checkout? I entered the code at checkout but it doesn't accept it?

  • No trial and no annual fee option

  • It showed as redeemed by not applied at checkout. Had to trial and error by changing payment and shipping method combination a few times for it to show. Got it to work in the end. Tips: You need to click to accept offer to trial membership when prompted, discount is applied immediately and you can see equivalent saved amount per item before order is finalised.

  • Worked fine for me. Thanks
