Love that you post the increasing price like it’s a deal

    • Lmao, I agree with the ridiculous sales which Derrimut Gym have put out, however, in comparison to other gym memberships, this gym tends to offer a cheaper price, though it comes with a few cons such as having to wait extended periods of time during peak hours, you pay for what you get!

    • +1

Its still a good deal for a 12 month gym membership that has multiple locations.

Disclaimer; you get what you pay for, memberships are over sold, gyms are packed fill, unless its a new location most equipment is worn out or damaged.

Oh and you get charged a admin fee even tho you need to do the admin work yourself.

$50 more than your post a few weeks ago…

You've posted the last 9 out of 10 deals for Derrimuts - are you associated?

    • I think he/she follows them on FB.

      • +3

@ScoMosas Nah, I just happen to work out at that gym and see a poster of this sale!

  • +4

Surely there has to be an association here

  • +4
    1. This is $50 more than the deal posted 3 weeks ago.
    2. This is the 11th deal that you've published for this place. Are you associated with them or something?
    3. Not really a sale
  • +2

Lmao, y'all crazy. I ain't associated/affiliated with them.. I mean, if you mean associated as in I go there to work out? I just so happen to walk in today and see a poster advertising this deal.

Here me out, I understand it's up $50 more than the previous deal I posted three weeks ago, however this price is still cheaper than other gyms within Victoria and South Australia - in comparison to: Goodlife, Zap Fitness, Revo Fitness and much more I can name. Down vote this deal all you want, but I'm still going to be posting deals whether you like it or not as it's still considered a cheap gym compared to other 12 month gym memberships state-wide (within SA and VIC).

Hope you understand my perspective lol.

Many people jump on bandwagon here.

    • +3

Trust me, these people saying it’s expensive are the same people that don’t even lift.

I'm still going to be posting deals whether you like it or not

That's up to the site mods mate. Plenty of accounts nuked for sockpuppeting. Having said that i don't think it's a bad price and no issues with genuine deals getting posted.

Thanks for sharing. Yeah it's $50 more than the last deal but if anyone downvoting this can share a gym that costs $6 a week I'm all ears.

This is still an EXCELLENT deal. Ozbargain is about finding bargains vs the regular price.
There are plenty of deals posted here where an item is more expensive vs last time it was posted because the market fluctuates.

As long as it's not the regular price please don't downvote people just because something is a bit more expensive than last time.

Again, if anyone down voting this can share an annual gym membership which includes 24/7 use and group classes for anything close to this price I'll up vote you all day. But you can't find anything else this cheap.

    So it's still a bargain.

Bargain for those who like to go to the gym at off peak times. My son and I generally have to go at 11 pm so we can avoid the peak.

      • +1

Yeah I guess location matters too. I use the group fitness classes. $6 a week can't beat it.

    • People downvoting without saying why. Cowards.

  • Worst gym. Not the facilities and equipment. That's great, but their business idea attracts lower-tier patrons. Avoid Monday-Wednesday 4pm-9pm.
