not available for my postcode. Woolies it is then.

    • At this stage, my $208.25 of Amazon gift card credit will be worth about 25c when I can finally use it.

I can't even spend the $5 bonus, and no doubt it's already expired….

Comes out to be almost the same price as single pack from Woolies ($2.75 - 10%).

    • +1

I would get it from Woolies with 10% off (if you got their mobile plan signed up every month offer) along with other groceries and you can also use e-giftcard on top, which is another 3% off

  • cheeers, been waiting awhile for this.

  • +1

    waiting for Choco one

  • Woolies $2.75 as well

  • +1

    Watermelon is the best.

    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/0000000000…

Alternative (woolies brand) 4 pack for $10.
Always available for this price. (Also quick pickup, no wait time unlike Amazon’s)

I won’t be surprised if woolies brand is packed at the same factory as Cocobella.

    • +10

That stuff is from the Philippines and is the worst tasting coconut water I’ve ever purchased. Cocobella is from Thailand and is much nicer.

Edit: Aldi coconut water for $3 everyday is the same as Cocobella.

      • +2

        Thanks for the clarification

Personally, I thought both were similar tasting.
Just like fresh ones, sometimes the sweetness of the water varies in intensity/ season/ tastebuds.

        • i reckon woolies to be a pink more sour variety. still an ok for everyday price when these deals arent active

      • +1

Tipco Brand is the closest and best tasting coconut water

        https://www.amazon.com.au/Tipco-Coconut-Water-1-l/dp/B087NQR…

        • +1

Tipco juices are awesome when in Thailand.

      • Aldi one tastes better or the same

    • +1

Thanks for the info. Better to test out ourselves.

        Report back your findings.

        My results so far:
        - Thailand is clear like water and enjoyable with a mild taste. Cocobella, Aldi, Raw C etc.
        - Vietnam is slightly yellow and has a stronger coconut taste, particularly H2Coco. Very nice depending on what you prefer.
        - Philippines or at least the Woolies branded stuff is an odd colour and the least enjoyable. Not worth the minor savings per litre imo.

        • +1

Thought it is worth mentioning that H2Coco source their coconut water from both Thailand and Vietnam. If you check the back of a bottle or can, it will either have “Made in Thailand” or “Product of Vietnam”. I find the Thai one much nicer and it’s my go to.

          • @BJJ26: Thanks for the tip. I’ve only had the large bottle and both have been Vietnam.

            • @OzzyBrak: No problem. From my experience, the 2L bottles seem to always be from Vietnam.

          • @BJJ26: Honestly how reliable are those labels is another thing. When China goods were not good quality before they pretended to be Hong Kong or Japanese goods by printing that. There was no regulatory 3-4 decades ago

I've tried WoW brand and couldn't finish it one cup. Threw away the rest. It had a terrible after taste.

  • Tipco is much better. Worth trying

    • I tried it and i agree it’s better. But is it ever at this price?

    • Tipco tastes better but there's something artificial about the taste I think they add a sweetener or something even though it's not listed. The flavour is too consistent to be pure coconut water.

Anyone else waiting for this post after the upcoming woolies deal?

  • I’ve given up on drinking coconut water. Got way too expensive. Really adds up.

    • My dog is addicted to it so I can’t stop

  • it tastes good!

  • Better off at Woolies if you combine with 10% shop (mobile/insurance/everyday extra) and 5% gc - which equates to ~14.5% saving

    $2.75 * 90% * 95% = $2.35125

    Depending

Most amazon GC are ~3% Amazon it is:

    $14.85 / 6 * 97% = $2.40075

      • I'm a mature aged uni student with a massive hecs debt - I probably should drink tap water instead

    • Where do you get 5% WW gift cards from (I have seen 3 & 4%)?

      • if you have family members who have the seniors card - they get access to the portal for 5% wish

  • Be careful to take note of the S&S pricing. Got stung for $27 after Amazon increased the price and despatched without notification.

    • +2

Best to cancel the S&S after the item ships, the price is not locked in so there is no point in keeping the sub.

      • sometimes i found the renewed s&s prices, different to current listed price for some reason

        • Interesting, I'll keep an eye out next time I go to cancel mine.

          • @hamza23: ye i have many uncancelled s&s items at the lower price, when listing wasnot discounted

cannot get my head around it, so if someone smarter can work out whats going on.

sometimes i benefit from it, other times stung by it—atp i just manually cancel
to be consistent i'd probably should cancel them fresh

also i wondered whether they have the stock pre-allocated when s&s is active.

  • Amazon suddenly stop delivering to my address :(.. I was a regular buyer of this coconut water for last 5 years.. damn just renewed membership yesterday..

    • +2

If you cancel your membership, it should offer you a pro rata refund.

  • Watermelon is now available also.

  • Available again. Now matching Coles.

  • Thanks, wife loves this. Bought 5 boxes for free shipping :)

    • I think that you could have bought 4 boxes :P $14.85 x 4 = $59.40

I am sure it won't go to waste though.

      • +1

Whoops, my mind automatically rounded up to $60 for free shipping haha… But she can go through like 2 bottles a day, so I'm sure an extra box won't last that much longer either. Thanks or posting!

  • Anyone else feel it taste like alkaline recently?

  • -1

    This is aldi normal price

    • -1

ALDI is $3ea for Cocolicious. This deal is $2.47ea.

If you only want 1 bottle, better off paying $2.75 at Coles/Woolworths, whoever has it on special (currently coles).

  • -1

Grew up drinking fresh coconut water.
I cant stand the taste of these packaged ones as the pasteurised product completely change the flavour.
However it is a great price for those love the taste.

Another marketing gimmick is coconut water powder.

    • Tell me about it. I couldn't stand packaged coconut water. But eventually I had to get used to it. No other option.

  • Orderd3

  • is it just me or this batch with the brown packaging has a strange off-taste ??
