Or are they like Apu's stuff from the Kwik-E-Mart?Often not great, but more notably they often don't have whatever you want or is on special. I'm sure it mostly depends on the individual shop though.

Apu's stuff from Kwik-e-mart are very fresh… from the deep freezer.
I assume they are fresh cause they put a time sticker on it which I think is used to indicate when to take it off the shelf
however, i find the meat in the pies to be a but weird… it doesnt feel like meat.. its really finely mince
but for $1 , i just you cant complain

Got some this arvo. Not bad. Pie is indeed snack sized so its small, sausage roll is decent sized. And the deal is valid for both the boxed Oak milk AND 500ml bottles. Just sayin….
