Magenta colour variant $169 delivered from eBay if you have StudentBeans account.

good price but still cant justify that much for a mouse

    • +14

For people like myself who use mouse 8~12 hours a day it's quite cheap in grand scheme of things.

My hand fatigue has dropped significantly when I moved to G pro range.

2+ years usage out of each one with daily use and can claim it on tax for work purposes.

      • I got original gpx for $50 off marketplace, its in pretty good nick and battery still lasts. So for me something like the Glorious mouse from a recent deal would be the right price for me.

      • How's the scroll wheel? I hate the one on the g502x. It's too light and rickety

        • Its very tactile. If you dont like iy Aliexpress is your best friend.

      • Which mouse were you using before G pro range?

    • +12

Way to humblebrag about your huge arms and small wallet.
But what about those of us with a huge wallet and small, puny, tiny little arms? Are we supposed to just push around a 100g mouse?

      • +3

i am using an ajazz so my arm is small with a small wallet

      • +3

if you have a huge wallet, then you hire someone else to push the mouse around

  • +1

Great mouse, although I always feel the need to mention Vaxee mice at this price point they are definitely worth the little bit extra.

    • +3

Or VXE mice at less than half the price are definitely worth the big bit less.

Don't do VXE. I have the R1 pro and there's a subtle sensor delay when using it wireless. I also had an issue where it was disconnecting which is a common issue and VXE were useless at trying to fix it.

        https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/19b0k6v/vxe_dr…

        • Don't have any issues with my unit. Might be interference with your router? + the issues you linked to are for the R1 SE model which isn't recommended by anyone.

          • @CHUNITHM Luminous: I have the same issue with the r1 pro and when I tried to fix it saw some people with the r1 pro max who have the same issue. Yeah could be interference with my router which is in the same room but that's the thing. I've had plenty of other wireless mouse that have had no issues but this is the only one that is so the wireless tech in it must be bad.

        • +1

I have the R1 Pro Max, haven't had any issues other than it being too small for my grubby 21x11 hands.
I did have some issues with a Deathadder V3 Pro in wireless, then the same with the R1 Pro Max, it turned out to be an issue using a USB3.0 hub/switch, no problems when connecting the receiver directly to a usb port.

        • How far is the dongle and your mouse/mousepad? You may need to bring them closer, like right next to the mousepad

          • @povogamer: My dongle is right in front my mousepad and I tried buying the 2.4ghz 4khz receiver as well while only running it at 1khz. Contacted VXE who were no help at all. I have a standard 2.4/5ghz router like 3m away but have never had an issue with any other wireless mouse. Other people on reddit are having the issue so not just me.

            • @ClintonL: I dont have the vxe r1 pro but it doesn't seem to be a widespread issue online given how popular it is as a budget mouse. Last thing I would try is a different cable as suggested in the reddit thread.

Works perfectly for my Microsoft Excel work. Never have to worry about clicking the wrong cell accidentally again.

    • +14

A master of excel only needs their keyboard /j

Agreed, she must still be in primary school learning.

Have they fixed the double click issue? I’m on my 3rd G Pro Wireless. It’s a shame as apart from the switches that eventually degrade they’re so good. Good enough that I purchased it a second time when it was out of warranty.

    • +1

If you've kept the old one around, you could try soldering new switches onto it. I did this with a double clicking Razor mouse and it was fairly straightforward, though not my first time soldering stuff.
Bit of a hassle, but switches are super cheap, you'll get a pack of 10 for around $5 on Aliexpress.

      • +1

There are also hot swap PCBs you can install if you don't want to solder.

      • First got replaced and the second I already binned long ago :(

        • My original G Pro started getting double click issue around 18~24 months of usage. After upgrading to Superlight it has been good for 2+ years without double click.

    • +1

I moved away from Logitech due to scroll wheel and double click issues. They always appeared just after warranty

    • yes

    • m1/m2 switches are optical

  • Glad my Logitech G Pro Wireless mouse in the ugly blue LoL colour for $49 is still going well.

    • I love League Of Legends!

  • Wish there was an option for lefties

  • +1

Does this mouse have the double-click issue? My G903 with PowerPlay mat was amazing except for the dreaded double-clicks that drove me crazy!

    • +1

Pretty common Logi issue across all mice

    • +2

I opened up the switch in my logitech mouse and realigned the metal contacts. Didn't need to desolder the switch, just pop off the plastic casing. No more double clicks!

    • m1/m2 switches are optical

  • got this as my first ever wireless mouse- love it.

Have had this for a year and got one of the lightweight Rapoos for $39 as per a deal on here,

Can't say I notice much of a difference at all

  • How does it perform on the Mac?

    • I use it on my work Macbook on the daily and it performs without issue. I don't have any Logitech software installed on Mac.

I don't do any gaming on Mac but I do game with the mouse on Windows.

  • Great mouse. One thing to note is the clicks are pretty stiff and extremely loud, took me some time to adjust

  • is the keychron M3 better than this?

  • this is a great mouse and it is working perfectly as I want.

Just had it price matched at Officeworks for $168.15!

    • Gonna try this later. The cashout staff at my local officeworks are so pedantic, this is a big enough discount on the rrp that I feel I'm gonna spend some time there.

  • have the pro wireless (original). great shape and performance, was a bit sceptical coming from a more ergo shaped mice (G403) but it was a lot more comfortable than expected and fits nicely in my hands.

if my gpw broke, I'd definitely upgrade the the gpx.

  • I’ve owned this mouse for a few months now and have just had to replace it under warranty because of the middle click breaking from normal use. This is a common problem apparently.

  • Got this in the last $189 deal. Great mouse, I found the clicks to soften up over time, running it at 2k and get over 2 weeks on one charge with daily usage. There's cheaper options out there, but this is a good, solid option.

  • Don't forget the extra cost of the wired wireless mouse pad, which you might scoff at but once you buy it, you'll wonder why you took so long to buy it.

Had an issue with my previous superlight where the scroll wheel would scroll up when scrolling down. Could only fix it temporarily by flipping the mouse and playing racecar with the scroll wheel.

  • Use my OG for work. Two years strong, travels with me.

  • +5

Had the first Superlight and the scroll wheel broke within 7 months, it would scroll up when scrolling down and vice versa. Logitech shop refused to replace it and demanded that I send the mouse to a "testing centre" to confirm if I'm eligible for a replacement, meaning I would be out of a mouse for how many weeks it takes for them to do testing. Decided to jump ship to a Zowie U2 and never looked back.

    • I had a original super light and done the same thing after about 3-4 months. Got the orignal through PLE and they just refunded.

    • Thank you for the warning. I don't like the scroll wheel at all on the g502x. I bought a razer and damn the scroll wheel is honey

    • Having the exact same issue. I've decided to deal with it in the meantime since I can't justify buying a new one. A temporary fix is to flip the mouse upside down and roll the mouse on the scroll wheel for 30 seconds to loosen up the dirt and dust stuck on the sensor. A permanent fix is to disassemble the mouse and thoroughly clean the scroll wheel sensor, although with time it will come back again so you will need to constantly replace the mouse feet to get to the screws.

    • I've had mine for 2 yrs now, no issues whatsoever. Maybe im just lucky and not as heavy handed. I play mostly helldivers 2 and diablo 4.

Im still considering an upgrade to the superlight 2.

Anyone gone from 1 to 2 with anything to share from the experience?

I was honestly waiting for it to act up and break before I just get the 2, but it honestly doesn't look like its going to let up anytime soon.

      • The main clicks feel different, that's about it

    • The encoder is very sensitive to dust. No idea why they've chosen to use the same one on the Superlight 2 which still have the same issues.
