  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD

  • Is it day or night between the 5700 5800?

    • +3

depends on gpu/resolution/game, the better the gpu the more difference it makes, the lower the resolution the more difference it makes, and well games are all different

      5700x3d vs 5800x3d?
5% difference max. They're the same chip but binned differently.

5700x vs 5800x? Depends. Sometimes, barely any difference at all, as many games are single threaded bound.

5700x vs 5700x3d? Depending on the game that needs L3 cache, up to 20% difference.

In other words, this is the best chip for AM4.

"For security reasons your request can't currently be processed"

    codes already used or something?

    • Same for me, got the security error for one code, and code already used error for the other.

    • Got the same message
Needed to turn off my adblock and refresh the page

    • AUAF12 - Takes $8 USD off, better than nothing imo - took it to 153USD

  • You got some bunters 7800x3ds?

The recent Ryzen 7 5700X3D I got from AliExpress came in a non original plain cardboard box and had bent pins. I don't think these are brand new?!

Was it from this seller and did you get a refund

It is a long supported chipset with 4 generations starting from 2017. Ryzen 1000, 2000, 3000 and 5000 series.

8 years for a socket is a ridiculously long time

      • Unless you have B550 or X570, AMD AGEGA microcode blocked PCIe gen 4 x4 and if you have B450 / B350, then all chipset lanes are PCIe gen 2. DDR4 memory support is better on B550 / X570. You will also find B550 / X570 boards get more AGESA updates (whereas a lot of B450 boards get only some AGESA updates).

So, for people with Ryzen 5000 series CPUs, B550 is probably the most logical choice, and that chipset at best is available for 1.5 gen. It was annoying B550 was late for Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. When some motherboard makers enabled PCIe gen 4 x4 support on B450, B350, X470 early on, AMD quickly disabled it via AGESA update.

i probably should upgrade my 3600….

Am still rocking a 2600. Had no issues till Space Marine 2…

      • haha this comment tipped me over the edge, as ill be grabbing SM2 this weekend too

    • Same. There was a cheap 5700X at $158 or something, but for gamers this is the bee's knees.

Ordered from these guys the same CPU, got it like a week ago. Came in those CPU plastic container thingies which was wrapped in foam and in a small package which had the bubbles inside.

Cpu itself was fine, no physical damage and performance seems fine. Replaced a 1700x so pretty noticeable difference.

Also used the 20 or 30 dollar code like a month ago for it was worried they would send some dodgy trash, but a week in and all seems good.

    • What code was it you used?

  • Worth the upgrade from a 5500 if I have a 4060ti?

    • Should be a significant upgrade from 5500 for games.

None of these discount codes work for me.

Getting "This coupon code is for single use only and can't be used here" for IFPIFKB
    &
"For security reasons your request can't currently be processed" for IFPSFPU

Anyone else had any luck with these codes?

    • Around $220 right now
