MSRP is $799 AUD, and it's going for $900 minimum atm in aussie stores, so thought this was a decent deal. I picked one up myself, the store has thousands of reviews, gold rated, and offers a 3 year warranty (Which according to Ali TOS, seems to be required to be upheld, if a seller promises it). Price is tax included after conversion with a mastercard which has no internation fees.
YOU NEED TO PAY IN USD (VERY IMPORTANT) otherwise it comes out to around $840 AUD. Same deal as the 7800X3D Ali deal someone posted a few days ago, i'll just copy paste the process.
Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:
Set the website currency to USD
Checkout with PayPal
Select your card with no international fees
Click "See currency options"
Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
Proceed with checkout
Tempting, gonna HODL for now unless someone can concoct a way to get it cheaper though cashback/others.
I already have a 7800x3D but VRChat, my main use case is ultra CPU limited so all the extra perf is necessary
