Kicking off from 5pm AEST on September 1st is the next Choice Day sales and here are both OzBargain exclusive and standard coupon codes to go along with the sale. These codes work with both USD and AUD as your AliExpress currency. Despite this being a Choice Sale the codes should work on pretty much everything.

Choice Products are shipped directly from the AliExpress warehouse and typically arrive within 2 weeks. If the delivery exceeds 14 business days you're able to claim a coupon and if it's not delivered a full refund after 30 days. Most of my recent Choice orders have arrived within 7 business days.

Coupons are 1 per account, do not stack with the new user "Welcome Offer" and "Big Save" promotions. The minimum spend excludes GST and shipping.

Discount (USD) Min Spend (USD) Discount (AUD) Min Spend (AUD) Coupon Code 1 Coupon Code 2
US$3 US$29 A$5 A$50 OZCD05 AUCD05
US$8 US$69 A$12 A$100 OZCD12 AUCD12
US$20 US$169 A$30 A$250 OZCD30 AUCD30
US$30 US$239 A$45 A$350 OZCD45 AUCD45
US$50 US$369 A$75 A$550 OZCD75 AUCD75

Alternative coupons with different discounts can be found here. Please note these codes may not work and I'm not 100% sure why. Potentially new accounts who've only made 1 or 2 orders or old accounts that haven't made a purchase in a long time.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

what my shit hasnt been delivered from last sale yet

  • I'm still waiting for mine from the last sale, 5 days ago they said "Leaving from departure country/region", but nothing after that.

    • +1

      Nothing unusual there.

      • It's the first time I've ever see it get stuck there. AliExpress's tracking seems to disagree with Parcelsapp and 17track. Parcelsapp says "Hand over to airline", while 17track picks up info from Singapore Post saying "Item En Route to Postal Facility".

        • Is the carrier Singapore Post? They can be slow.

          • @Clear: It tracks on their website and the tracking number ends in SG, so I'm assuming so?

            • @ldd-mn: Try tracking through this https://postal.ninja/en . If the tracking number has changed it'll show that.

              • @nwtau: That gives the same status as Parcelsapp

            • @ldd-mn: Yep they're pretty slow unfortunately. Like 3-4 weeks.

  • Had many ali orders over the last few months but my order from last week has been stuck in 'to ship'.

Slowly, one by one the orders expire and get refunded but not sure what happened to that order.

    • Are you buying 'Choice' items or just the cheapest seller possible?

      • I bought a Choice item from a seller with ~92% positive feedback from the last sale, they never shipped it (only just been refunded yesterday through PayPal), so can't trust them unless the item has a decent amount of feedback I guess (item I bought didn't have any feedback).

        • +1

92% positive feedback is really bad, try to aim for 97% and above,

          • @ldd-mn: True, should've noped out but the price + being a Choice item made it tempting.

        • I did have one Choice order recently stuck in "to ship" and it was automatically refunded - then re-ordered from same seller to same address and it shipped successfully and has now hit Aussie Post shipping. FWIW

      • Yep, always choice

does OZCD in the codes stand for "Ozbargain Compulsive Disorder"?

  • +1

If anyone is wondering, the discount seem to be less that what was offered in the sale that ended a few days back (26th).
    I got 40USD off 280USD in that. Here 50 off 369 is a lower %.

    • +2

Choice sales are always lower. It's the mid-month sales where you can get the bigger discounts.

  • hopefully these work
