PS: their other listing is slightly cheaper but falls under the coupon code minimum spend (US$49).

This was AUD 50 couple of months back

Cheapest on OzBargain was ~A$62, which we mostly won't see anymore as AliExpress's Factory Direct Collected Store/Cutesliving Store are basically gone.

      • Any idea why they have disappeared? I remembered that store as having great deals

They've ended their loss leading campaign and the original links to a lot of them go to the 'next cheapest' apparently. A real shame.

    Best device love it

  • For some reason I couldn't get the code to work. I'm guessing it's a me issue. Tried changing the currency to USD first as advised but no dice.
    Still bought :)

    • +2

If you're a new/returning customer, then you may be seeing the welcome deal price (~US$45.41 + GST) which is below the minimum spend for the coupon code. which the code isn't valid with.

      • Yep that'll be it! Cheers!

  • Really good device, unfortunately my battery failed <2 months after receiving. Being shipped back currently.

  • This or the soulja game boy?

  • This or a powkiddy x55?

  • This is the only device I have and I like it. The stick controls are pretty useless but they are there. That was the reason I bought it and I can't use these damn sticks.

    • What's wrong with the sticks?

      • They're retracted and not easy to use, not enjoyable at all

        • +1

Damn, well at least it plays GBA amazing.

I've tried the R36S, Miyoo Mini Plus, RG35XX Plus, RG35XX H, Macca's McNugget Tetris, but the Trimui is the one I ended up keeping.

Comfortable, great battery life, decent PSP performance, very efficient sleep mode, great screen and affordable.

Some people don't like widescreen for retro games but for me, 4:3 games look better on 16:9 screen than 16:9 (psp) games look on a 4:3 screen.

    • You can never have too many retro handhelds.

    • Have you tried streaming on trimui? Can it stream 720@60fps ?

    • this is really helpful, how do you find it compares with the RGXX H specifically if you don't mind me asking?

      • +1

The H is too small. I don't like in-line shoulder buttons. It's uncomfortable to hold when you're using the thumbsticks. PSP games run slightly better on the H but look awful on a tiny 4:3 screen.

        • good one. i've pulled the trigger just now! coming from the R36S which i should be able to sell to cover most of the cost. should at least be an upgrade.

  • where to get games from?

  • Great.. another one to add to the collection.

  • Worth getting 2 so you can do local co-op via Netplay on Retroarch.

    • I could netplay with one of my other handhelds though?

      • +1

That's right. Just needs the same instance of Retroarch, same everything, build etc, same ROM etc. Since TSP uses it's own frontend, it would be easier to get that instance of Retroarch right.
