  • oh geez i havent been to a arcade gaming place for decades.

Timezone, Galaxy world, Intencity…. good times when we were younger.

Wonder when Round1 will ever come to AUS.

    • Lock in sessions were the best

Individual game price has gone up again.
    Now $2.40 per swipe.

    • The cost per game highly depends on what you're playing and the location you're playing at. I know for Taiko it can be vastly different per location, either on price per swipe or number of songs you can play per swipe across locations

      • +2

BTW 3 Songs per play on Taiko are being pushed out in TZ locations in AU.

        • Yes I have noticed that, which is good. Hoping TEEG can push it to Kingpin locations as well, but I guess it might vary there. maimai and CHUNITHM I think can vary a bit in price dependent on the location (I know it's definitely the case comparing Kingpin Crown & Timezone Northland in Melbourne for maimai)

        • I played this at Eastland yesterday, still 2 songs.

    • Is that for VIP pricing?

    • -1

it does depend on the game ofc, but its definitely been 2.40 minimum for at least a year

I was shocked by the price in TZ Singapore. Their load up bonus is also much less than OZ.

  • No matter how many consoles or vintage or retro games I have, I always find myself in a Timezone once a month!

  • Topped using a double dollars deal months ago now with $100 (for $200 total credit added), and haven't really put a huge dent in it so far. Pretty much the only time I'd recommend topping up on credit if you can hold out for them

    • +2

Gotta stack it with the $20 voucher they sometimes give at the same time as double dollars deals, and redeem it alongside a discounted $80 Timezone gift card for maximum value.

      • Absolutely when those offers arise, take full advantage

      • ye or when kingping does 600 for 240

        • I got screwed around by that one - they don't let you deem gift cards online during that deal, so if you're regional and have no nearby Kingpin, tough luck

          • @Jonzay: yeah they lie, they say on their site u can use gift cards online but u cant

  • Sorry a rookie question, but does anyone know if Timezone credits can be used at laser tag (at Forest Hill Chase) please?

    • Call them?

    • Didnt know there was laser tag at forest hill

      • +1

It's at the far end when one walks into the ten bin bowling part.

    • its only for the arcade machines

      • Cheers!

    • I was able to at the place I went. $10/game

  • In the app I got spend $80 get $200.

  • +1

Arcade credit loaded is valid for 12 months from the last in-venue use.

Does this mean if I play once every 12 months it'll continue to stay valid?

    • +1

      yes

      • Thanks! Don't live super close to one but if I drive past I might stop in every now and then.

  • +2

My local timezone upgraded the basketball to only 1 round and now I couldn't find anything worths playing lol

Old days I could spend a few hours easily on fighting games and advantage games.

  • Is kingpin part of Timezone?

    • They have the same owner (TEEG)
