Hi all,

First post after a few years so please be nice! Was just looking up prices for the Alienware 32inch OLED and found JB HI FI have discounted it further from $1511 to $1208, not sure if it is an all time low?

Hope it helps anyone who is currently looking to buy an OLED monitor.

Cheers.

  • WOWWWWWW I picked one up for $1700 when it first came out not too long ago. Ended up returning it but this is a epic price

      Why the return? No good?

      • I was doing 50% Office works and 50% gaming. OLED is nice but its still got a font issue. I couldnt justify 1700 but now at 1200 i could totally.

        • At 4k even?

          • @MA87033: yeah, its greatly improved from previous generations though.

      Too curved?

  • wish i got this instead of the samsung one for 1250. samsung tv os is so annoying.

    • Agreed, got an Odyssey G6, great display but worst part about it is the smart garbage OS. I don't want or need more than a basic settings menu on a monitor.

any cheaper mon with 4k 32 inch?

  • Wow, done. Love you OP.

  • Damn was waiting for the LG to go on sale but this is too good to pass up

Fantastic price, I've been super happy with mine even after paying over $1500, SO worth it at this lower price

  • $1198 with Perks

    • Dang. Has there been another code? Mine expired 21 July.

      • +1

Nope, it’s just the usual $10 off for joining the Perks program

  • So good

  • Couldn't resist. Thanks OP.

  • GOD DAMN IT, I just bought one for $1500 on the 21st REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

      Get the difference refunded

      • I'm in the same boat. Bought it for $1500 on the 21st, but I still have not opened it yet. Still brand new in the box.
Is jb-hifi known to refund the difference in situations like this?

        • +1

Afaik it's 14 day price guarantee/protection whatever you want to call it (could be 30 days). If you have your receipt and talk to someone at JB you should get the difference refunded.

          • @daltron8484: Thanks mate I'll give it a shot!
Worst case I think I will just go return it and buy it again instantly. I checked their website, change of mind policy lasts for 30 days if the item is unopened.

@smasha01: Always worth asking. They refunded the difference I paid for a tv cos the price dropped at a competitor, didn't expect them to do that

  • Fantastic price. I bought at 1500 and been really happy with it (was coming from an aw 34 dwf

Wish id waited tho, had jb gift cards :(

    • If you got it in the last 14 days you can get the difference refunded, I'm doing so in the morning

      Not 4K though.

      • I'm confused by Dell's website. 32" is 4k and more expensive, 34" is opposite by all means, but the website keeps them in one place where you switch only by clicking on the size button. The subject one is better.

    • older panel, not 240hz, not 4k.

    • a lot less sharp and smooth, I went aw3423dwf -> lg27 -> aw3225qf.

      • -1

I doubt you can see the difference between 165Hz and 240Hz, let alone "a lot" less smooth.

But yes, a lot less sharp for texts. It is noticeable for non-RGB stripe displays.

how about this LG? $452 32 inch with 4k.

    • Alienware is on the next level.

Gutted. Bought 1 month ago for $1511.

Nice. Hope this kinda price helps pull down the flat competitors a bit - likely the MSI, Aorus. But probs won’t see the Asus move much though. And really the new G8 likely the closest competitor

  • Pretty good price.

    please be nice

You seem like a lovely person.

  • I did not see that price coming anytime soon, did the aw34 even ever drop down that far? I think the 34 g8 oled at 1299 was as good as the last gen got.

I already have an lg 45 21:9 oled but the pixel density isn’t great on that. Will have to see it this wins out or if the 45 immersion is too hard to give up.

  • I was eyeing this off at the 1500 price but didn't pull the trigger, couldn't resist with this price. Can't wait.
