Black — $36.76. Expired

Orange — $36.13.

seems like a good price for a quality foam roller.. used for muscle recovery, pain relief, improved flexibility etc.. comes with free online instructional videos apparently… if you are an active person, go to the gym allot or do any kind of sport this could be beneficial, people say…

supports upto 500 Pounds= 226kg

price on camels has been going up steadily over the years, so has sale price lows, can't beat $21.00 on Dec 25, 2019… probably due to infation etc… haven't seen price this low since maybe July 2023 according to camels… though it has been dipping in the low/mid $40-$50 range recent. https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B0040EGNIU?context=se…

    with Free Online Instructional Videos

So … a product manual that should be included/free anyway?

These are great rollers, really nice travel size too

    • I've never met a foam roller that could crack my back.

  • +3

How about getting one from Kmart and the videos from YouTube instead

    • +7

The Kmart ones, at least the one I got a while back was terrible quality and it broke pretty quickly, and I don't weigh that much. Going cheap did not pay off in this case.

    • The Kmart ones are rubbish, too soft and not worth it. I’ve had a trigger point one for about 5 years after my gym had them and they are fantastic.

I paid $70 for one of these a decade ago. Great deal.

    • nice find! cheap price, good reviews, awesome

Different shape. This is like the people who carry on about Aldi beans in the coffee deals.

      • +6

        What shape are Aldi beans?

      • Except the Aldi beans actually make decent coffee.

I have one of these. It's ok. the best foam roller I have found is one from decathlon that they don't sell any more. It's not rubber but hard plastic on the outside.

All good JURBA. For clarity I'm not a moderator or employed by OzBargain. I'm one of about 15 'Power Users' that help out when we can. I can add info to deals/forum posts and mark deals as expired/sold out.

Wow. Someone gave me it for free when i grabbed about 150kg weights for $50 a few months back

Was gonna throw it out but i guess will be keeping it

    • lol nice deal, awesome

    • You always find the best deals :). I still got stuff for you to pick up lol

Had one for 3 yrs and highly recommend. Very solid for strong trigger point release, not a soft foam roller.

Is there any difference in effectiveness between this and the cheap Kmart or Target ones?

I've compared those to the ones at Rebel and they seem to have comparable firmness (ok some of the Kmart ones feel like garbage but not all) but at 5x the price.

    • The blue Kmart ones are utter garbage.

The hard black ones may not necessarily be so. Having said that my triggerpoint foam roller is still in excellent nick even after 8 years of use, so take that as you will.

Good roller, but I also find it to be an awesome under desk foot rest when I WFH

    • great idea!

Do people find rollers work for loosening up muscles and for injuries? I have been using rollers for a while, I did read some articles recently that claimed, while they can feel good etc, they dont actually make too much difference apparently. Not sure if thats accurate.

Does help with tightness for me but it could also be placebo. I remember reading the effects typically last up to 10 minutes post rolling and should be paired with other forms of stretching for optimum results.

    • +1

      Yes and no.

You need to foam roll the tight muscle first to loosen it, then stretch it so it gets back to normal length. If it's weak then after a few sessions you can start strengthening it.

Black is coming up as $69, orange still $36.13

    • Thanks i need to get a moderator to edit it

I've been thru 2 of these, the plastic pipe has a join that breaks very easy.
